The service tech treated me as I was ignorant and was not helpful at all.
Finally he went to his manager, and found out I was correct in what I was asking.
But made me fill stupid at the time

Wanted to give a shout out to Amal! She worked with me for several hours. She was very patient and knowledgeable. I never felt like I wasnt a valued customer. I would definitely recommend her and this dealer.

Nice staff, sold me a car and the check engine light came on the next day. I had to take it in to get serviced 2 days later, turns out I needed a new engine, thermostat and the car had NO oil in it. I had to buy new front tires because the tires were rotted. I was really surprised because they did my emissions and it passed emissions. Never again, I don’t recommend.

My wife and I were referred to Rob Carrol at Sunset Hills Subaru, and we’re so glad we took that advice- we both were looking for new vehicles. This dealership is truly a gem in the St. Louis area. The staff here are outstanding—you can tell they genuinely love what they do and take pride in working at Sunset Hills.
Rob was an absolute pleasure to work with. He really listened to what we were looking for and never made us feel rushed or pressured. He was patient and supportive while my wife test drove several vehicles to find the perfect fit. Rob’s easygoing personality, sense of humor, and clear passion for his job made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish.
I purchased my car on my birthday, and Rob and the team went out of their way to make the day extra special!
Connie in finance and sales manager Caleb were also fantastic—friendly, professional, and great to work with.
What really sets this dealership apart is their commitment not just to customers, but to the community. My wife happened to be there during a Make-A-Wish event, and on another visit, they were decorating for a Trunk-or-Treat. It’s clear they care deeply about giving back to the community and creating a welcoming environment.
We both absolutely love our new cars, and after this experience, we’re Subaru owners for life!

I have nothing but great things to say about this establishment. Rob Carroll is a king amongst men. Took great care of me. Didn’t hard press me on anything. Definitely was thorough but at no point did I feel him turn the screws. Was SUPER knowledgeable about their products and thorough when explaining. Answered all of my questions and concerns with ease. Also shout out to Caleb and Husein who were also a great help! Buy Subaru! BUY HERE! Thanks Sunset Hills Subaru! LETS GO BLUES!!!

We bought a 2025 Outback Limited and had a pretty good experience as car dealerships go. However, when we got to finance we were told about the extended warranty which sounded pretty good. When asked how much it was, we were quoted 463 dollars. Neither my wife nor I could believe how cheap it was. We kept mentioning that fact to the finance person and said so several times. She assured us that was the price. Turns out the price of the extended warranty is 3280 dollars and the 463 dollars is the monthly payment with the warranty. The way we kept going on about how cheap the warranty was you'd have thought she would pick up on that and explain what the price was. We'd have probably gotten it anyway. But I feel that transaction was a little shaky.

I went to buy a car yesterday and had the best car buying experience I’ve ever had . Everyone was so friendly . My salesman was very helpful and kind . Ask for Austin Lewis . Then on to finance . Wow , another great experience. Connie Shivley was my finance manager. Best I’ve ever dealt with . The dealership is top notch . If you’re looking to buy a Subaru I highly recommend them .

We visited this past Saturday and by Monday we were able to drive home in a new 2025 Outback. I couldn't be happier with the service we received with Jon. He was super kind and knowledgeable and helped us with our situation. I will recommend coming here 10/10 everytime!

Communication errors with the service department led to us not being notified that our wheels needed to be aligned which, in turn, seriously damaged one of our tires. After explaining the situation to the GM, he took that into consideration and made things right with a discounted tire replacement/alignment cost. Deducting one star because it took far longer initially to deal with the service department than it should have, but we appreciated GM Ryan Blankenship’s quick remedy of the issue.

My salesman was Josh Small. He was off the hook! In a very nice way! He was very conscientious of our time, listened to what we wanted, and really just been over backwards for us. In this car salesman department I give him my highest praise. Thanks Josh.

Very easy to deal with, and a good follow up after the purchase. No pressure to purchase add ons, and good support after the sale. I would buy from them again if I ever need another new vehicle.
