My first experience with any hospice team and Heartland was the Best! Especially our nurse Carrie who helped us with anything our family needed, Carrie was a Huge support! When I called her, she came. The whole east team was just what our Family needed to get thru the time of losing our loved one. I highly recommend Heartland.

I have gotten the opportunity to work with Hospice through my career with Assistance Home Care and it has been a true pleasure. They truly connect with the families and with our caregivers to make sure that we are giving the best care possible. Such a wonderful company.

Very kind and comforting people through a whirlwind of difficulty and change as my mom suffered through the final stages of ALS. I particularly want to commend mom's nurse Sharon and bath aide Kristen. They were truly wonderful. So thankful they and others were there to help through all this.

They over promised and underdelivered. We called a RN case manager, Teresa multiple times, and didn’t show up when promised. She was insensitive to our family and very rude. The company’s primary focus was sales not care.

Awful care. My mother n law has a girl come out 3 days a week to bath her only she might get a bath once a week! Her hair is still greasy from last week when the girl has already been here twice this week. Mother in law smells of body order bad and hair pasted to her head. I ask what does the girl do if she don't give you a bath..her response is, she has coffee and sits and talks and maybe polish my nails. Also the girl is relaying messages to my husband through my mother n law that has nothing to do with her or her health. I'm requesting a new lady to come tomorrow for baths to make sure my mother n law is getting the care she needs and not some lazy girl that don't want to do her job.

My mom has been on Heartland Hospice for three years now. All the staff has been amazing! They always go above and beyond for me. If I need them for anything they will come out at any time. If I'm low on medication her nurse will order it before she leaves my house. My mom also has an aid. Her aid always goes above and beyond. She will take the time to paint my mom's nails or French braid her hair. She made her a beautiful embroidered rice bag I can heat in the microwave. The staff knew I was nervous about putting my mom in a nursing home during our vacation. Her nurse and social worker were at the home waiting for me. They made sure check in went smoothly. Then stayed after I had to leave to sit with her and feed her lunch. They also contacted me while on vacation to give me updated. They really put my mind at ease. I don't know what I would do with out Heartland.

We would give a thousand stars to Heartland Hospice if offered. We continue to be simply amazed at the wonderful, warm, professional folks who represent Heartland. There are no better people in the world, and my husband is getting even better health care than we could imagine.Since joining hospice, his health and outlook has improved immensely. The most excellent staff have been here whenever we ask. A sweet and professional Aide, Kristen, provides him a bath, shave, shampoo, bed change three times a week.An amazing nurse, LaVonne, visits him twice a week, and they are always just a phone call away if the need arises, providing medications when needed.Monthly visits from a Social Worker, Becky, ensures we are being taken care of and checks to see if we need anything. Cannot sing their praises loudly enough. We are so appreciative.

The heartland home visitors are top notch. I have worked in the nursing field myself, and these people are very well trained...Namely, Jennifer, Dale, Curt, Theresa, Melissa and Christen. Personally, I do not know what "I" would have done without this group of people. More companies need this quality of people working for them. Good group of people
