“Dierbergs always has an amazing selection. It is definitely not the cheapest option for a grocery store, but they almost always have everything we need for a one stop shop. Had some issues at the self check out with the machine being frozen, but the staff was very quick to help and got me out of the store quickly.”

“Today, I was in Aldi to pick up a few things. I’d been to the doctor earlier and had blood drawn and of course I’d fasted and simply forgot I hadn’t ate anything. From the moment I got in the door, I started feeling crappy. I sat on the bench outside the door for a few minutes thinking it was the heat that was getting me down and once I cooled off inside, I’d be ok. Walking up and down the isles, I started feeling crappy again. But there was no place to sit down. I saw an Aldi employee and I flagged her down and just told her I wasn’t feeling well. Somewhere, a chair appeared, then she brought me ice water and cheese and crackers. She kept checking on me, and after about 15 minutes, I felt better so I kept shopping. By the time I got to the register, I thought I was going to pass out again. The lady at the register helped me back to “my” chair. I believe her name was Nancy and the first person to help was Ann. I hope I’m right about the names, I was kind of scatter brained at the time. They watched over me like mother hens, got me more cheese and crackers, Gatorade, a frozen bag of peas to put on my neck and offered me ice cream. Ann walked me to my car, put the groceries in.
I hope you read this and know I got home fine and I think you two are wonderful people. I’m fine now, ate a bit more when I got home and took a good nap. This will always be my favorite Aldi and you two deserve a medal. And next time, I will eat before I shop. Hugs!”
