“Apparently, our cat licked the flea treatment off of our large breed dog. We were headed out the door to take our twins to St. Louis for medical reasons when we found Spike seizing. I rushed him to the closest vet, which happened to be Spring Valley. The vet rushed him back within seconds and the techs were equally dedicated to moving as fast as possible. Our cat, who is an ESA for our son who is on the spectrum, is a very important part of our family. My son would have been devastated if Spike didn't make it. The level of care that he received at spring Valley was beyond any vet experience we've ever had. He had to stay overnight, but we were given several updates along the way. The vet himself actually called twice! What medical professional has the time to do that nowadays!? We were even able to get to st. Louis on time! They were able to stabilize him and when we picked him up later the next day, it was night and day compared to the previous day. He was up, walking around, eating, wanting attention. Their care and attention saved Spike's life. But more than that, they saved my son from having to lose his buddy. I don't think they understand how much they helped us that day. We will be switching from our current vet and going to Spring Valley. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!”
