For over 15 years we have ordered the same custom-made weathervane to give at an annual end-of-summer event. It is one of the most favorite prizes! J. Dubs/Split Mountain Metal has NEVER let us down. They have all arrived on time, in perfect condition and have been wonderful!!!!

Our Alaska Hooksetters Lodge worked with J Dubs/Split Mountain metals to build and ship an entire patio railing to Kenai, Alaska, which we never saw until we put it up this spring.... They did a fantastic job, nothing was damaged during shipping, and they made a number of recommendations that made the whole thing better. Good communication and it's good to see a thriving business in a fairly remote location in Montana.

I work for BTi Log Home Care. A service we offer is custom maintenance free railings. Each railing project requires parts to be powder coated and some require custom metal fabrication for log post caps.Split Mountain has been our go to vendor for both powder coating and custom fabrication. They have a knowledgeable staff that is very customer service oriented. They complete projects on schedule. The quality of work is excellent.

These people are “first class”! They helped me design the metal entrance sign to a ranch in my family since 1878. They are very quick and fairly priced. The quality of the work is excellent, and they captured everything about the ranch I wanted.

These guys are awesome and the prices are super reasonable. I had a trip to Baja planned and needed something coated sooner than they had available and Morgan fit me in so I could stay on schedule which she definitely didn't have to do. We ordered a custom weather vane and the staff at J Dub's were brilliant. They were very helpful and responsive. Sent us drawings of the design and modified them to our specifications. Very Helpful in Ironing out Design Details...Prompt Replies when I had questions...and Above All...I received my piece a WEEK EARLIER than originally scheduled.Highly Recommend these guys...and "Mary" is a Sweetheart to work with which just puts the icing on the cake.

Where can you find support brackets for a custom drafting table? You can't. You have J Dubs Split Mountain Metals custom build them for you to exact specifications. We started with a weather vane many years ago, then to custom marsh scene panels. Accurately built, on time and competitively priced, not to mention professional and friendly customer service. Very refreshing in this day and age. Many thanks for another job well done!

Looking for a weathervane took some time. Didn’t like anything I saw until I found J Dubs Split Mountain Metals. I contacted them by email and by phone. Responses were prompt and courteous. Once the plans were finalized the production began and I received it before the promised date. Shipping was sound and vane arrived in good shape. Mounting was easy and the “lab” has been spinning well since it arrived.Highly recommend them.
