First of all, never come to Yelp for reviews. Yelp actively removes positive posts if the original poster passes away and their account is inactive. They will also remove positive posts at random because they think the posts are not legitimate. To Yelp every negative review is legitimate and every positive review is suspect. Simply said, Yelp sucks and is not to be completely trusted. That said, working with Big Sky Sports at the mountain was a great experience for me. The employees were helpful, informative, and friendly. The store was well-stocked for a resort storefront. I will be back.

OMG! Stay away! The store is in a great location in the village, and looks great. BUT, they have the most customer-unfreindly policies! You have to pay $30 if you want to try on the product! Never, ever have I experienced this. The salesperson was rude and explained that he did not want me to waste his time. Yikes!

30 dollars required to try on boots so employees "time isn't wasted". Employee was rude and I actually planned on purchasing. Will be taking my business elsewhere

Had a great experience here, Kora was excellent and allowed us to shop beyond closing hours. I highly recommend this place….and Kora, she’s awesome!

I am a long time, older skier who finally acquiesced to family pressure to wear a helmet. I went to Big Sky Sports to select my new helmet. I settled on a "large" Jackson MIPS by Giro. However, the salesperson insisted that I should buy the "XL" because it had a better fit. I took her advice. After one day on the slopes, the helmet was sliding around and pushing down on my goggles making uncomfortable and hard to breathe through my nose. HERE IS THE IMPORTANT PART. I went back the next morning to exchange sizes and the salesperson was condescending and told me helmets can not be exchanged, and "you should have given more input when deciding."when I told her that is ridiculous, she asked if I wanted to exchange for another size. I replied yes, and she said you can go sell it on eBay and she would be happy to sell me the right size. This is the absolute truth. Do not shop here - polite condescension is their style! How about " a try for a day policy" - check out the phot of my receipt- "Full Refund with receipt within 10 days."

Nice new chair lifts do NOT accomodate adaptive skiers, and this sucks! Great mountain, greedy owners!?

Definitely not worth the hype. Very crowded lift lines especially on weekends. Many restaurants not open due to Covid but this only creates even more congestion at the restaurants that are open. The parking lot attendants are complete jerks. Way overpriced all around. Won’t be back.

I tend to wander this store every time I am in Big Sky and drool over their merchandise. But I never buy much because it is so overpriced (not unexpected for a store located at a ski resort). However, today I went to this store in a mood to buy. Before I got to the clothes I wanted, I had a question about an item I needed. The saleswoman who offered to help was awful. She was more interested in dictating a solution than actually listening to my problem. And of course it turned out that her solution would not work for me because I am allergic to wool and that is all they had in stock. But she never gave me a chance to tell her that. I found her to just be really obnoxious and unhelpful. Another salesman helpfully suggested a product at another store while this lady went back to the counter to gossip with her friends. I did go check that out, but this entire interaction so ruined my day that I was no longer interested in making any purchases.

Incredible views and slopes, short to non-existent lift lines (even over Christmas!!), and truly great hospitality.
