Found myself in the Rider’s Room after my airline lost my bags containing my boards and all my gear for a week-long ski trip at Big Sky. Michael got me set up on a demo throughout the week- he was incredibly helpful, informative and had the perfect recommendations based on my preferences and what I wanted to ride each day. Hayden hooked me up with all the gear I needed and had me looking and feeling great with his equally spot-on knowledge of the gear they carry. Brian got me fitted for boots with the step-on system I was eager to try, and even helped me realize I was in the wrong sized boots despite snowboarding for two decades- massive improvement. Conor got me in and out with the rental everyday and was kind and understanding throughout my confusing process while waiting for my bags to arrive. I think I met and learned something from every employee there, although I didn’t get all their names. Couldn’t recommend more.

I came in because my toe strap back binding kept sliding off. They were a bit stumped, but ended up ajusting my bindings and moving the foot plate forward. It solved my issue! I rode the rest of the day with zero problems. I feel bad I didn't get either of their names, but I do know they both said they were from Michigan. So, thank you!

I had a great experience at the Rider’s Room with Ethan. Even though they didn’t have my size in snowboard boots, Ethan went above and beyond to recommend alternative ways to make my current boots fit better. He was not only enthusiastic but also offered money-saving solutions. Ethan’s professionalism shone through as he patiently answered my questions about bindings. I highly recommend this store, thanks to Ethan’s excellent service.

I had a very bad experience with them. My binding broke on the mountain due to one of the screw coming off and I was directed to them. Instead of trying to fix they simply said we can't fix Flow bindings. I ended up using demo equipment from them and they said that I can use the demo credit against the purchase if I like it. When I wanted to purchase using that credit they said they don't have my sizes and I could only use the credit against board or bindings . :(Luckily I bumped into a repair shop in a different building and they were nice enough to fix my binding using similar style screw and didn't even charge me. Unlike Rider's room which only wanted to rip me off.

Justin was super helpful and informative! This is the only place up the mountain to rent EST bindings for the channel system however the rental is a bit pricey

My board got stolen because I left it in the parking lot and riders room hooked me up! I tried 2 different demo boards and the young man who helped me (Justin) was a wealth of knowledge! He explained many things about different boards and I felt very comfortable so I decided to buy the second demo I tried. He then explained in detail about the different kind of bindings and which would be a good fit for me. I am so happy with my new board and setup , I can’t wait to ride! Thank you Justin!

I’m no professional but I have been doing this long enough to know left from right. Maybe they wouldn’t listen to me because I’m a woman. The board I demoed was completely untuned. I never get stuck on catwalks and I was getting stuck on them within the first 10 feet. Getting off lifts felt like I was getting swept off my feet from how sticky the board was. It needed a wax. After 2 runs I went back to the shop and asked if they could do anything about it and they blamed it on the snow. While I agree, it was a particularly cold day, it was also the board - if we could have just met in the middle it would have worked. They didn’t offer any solutions and I basically wasted my demo fee. I spent the day avoiding catwalks which really limited the terrain.

I came to the store to fix my BOA system. They told me it fixable, but in two hours got another answer - your boot is fried and we can do nothing. Have to rent boots from them. When I got back to home I tried to fix by myself and BINGO - fixed in 40 minutes! It's Burton's BOA and they have plastic tunnels for laces which was melted as they told, but it isn't - it was just bended, twisted it a little and was able to wire it thru. You better find another shop if you need simple repair.

I recently got demo rentals while out in Big Sky through The Board Room and had such a great experience. David helped with the whole process— by phone before arriving, setting me up with the best fit/gear, and helping me after rentals. He was so courteous and listened to all the things I wanted, then found the right gear to match. I can’t imagine the trip without his help, I’m so thrilled with my new gear. Thanks David, you a real one ?

Had a great experience with the staff there on 12/23/20 demoing a Burton snowboard, easy to work with, reasonable demo prices and selection, would highly recommend!

When they heat molded my boot, they didn’t put the insole back into the boot after heating it up so I could put my foot in. They wouldn’t listen to me as to how a boot should be heat molded and now my left foot is in sever pain. On top of they they threw away my replacement arches for my insoles, insisting I don’t need them even though I do because I need to try out how they fit. These people really messed up my feet and ruined my ride. Too stubborn and uneducated.

After getting hosed by Ski Butlers these guys came through big time. Super knowledgeable and friendly. Can't recommend them enough.
