Crazy Mountain Museum is a beautiful little museum and an unexpected delight. It is a gem full of interesting artifacts and an amazing, eclectic collection from the Paleolithic era to modern mining. It offers great information and in-depth history about the area, including a dentist chair and medical section. The museum features genealogical resources and scavenger hunts for children. Welcoming, knowledgeable, passionate, and kind volunteers provide small town hospitality, often offering private tours. It is a treasure and a great way to preserve the past, well worth a stop off the interstate. The unique gift shop is also recommended.
Wonderful tour! Jeanne, our guide, being raised in the area, had so much knowledge and even personal family history to share! Exped to be there 15-20 minutes. Left an hour and a half later!

Fabulous. Lots of regional history. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. To much to see in one visit. I will be returning soon.
