I usually come here about 3 times a year for a weekend. I stayed the night of 12/21/24 and will never be back. Group of people up partying until 5AM. Screaming and yelling at each other. Around 4am a couple of them started vomiting inside and outside their rooms. I was finally able to sleep around 5:20 in the morning when they went to bed. The receptionist asked how my night was and told her it was terrible. Just shrugged her shoulders and said there was a group staying the night for a Christmas party. I’ll look for somewhere else to stay in big fork on my next trip.

I had a fantastic stay over the recent Thanksgiving holiday. The lodge is in a great location, the room was spacious and tidy, and the staff were friendly. Will likely book again in the future.

Nice property, starting to show its age and lack of maintenance. Staff was friendly mostly. Got charged something like $150 extra for robes that they accused us of stealing. Someone saw us wearing robes during our stay but there were no robes in the room upon checkout. We knew there weren’t going to be robes in the room because we have stayed there multiple times and there were no robes ever so we brought our own. They were not even the same color as the hotel robes. Mine was black and my wife’s was a checkered pattern. They did remove the charge after we objected but I’d rather spend my money somewhere that doesn’t accuse people of theft without even investigating.

We found both of the rooms that we stayed in to be spacious and clean. We moved out of our first room in a pet friendly building (it had the last jacuzzi room) due to a barking dog (didn't think of that...lol) and were given a much quieter space with a beautiful view.
The lodge is very accommodating and clean. However, during the slow season, the office closes at night and no one is available to assist if there is an issue. Would I still recommend? Definitely!
I found all the staff to be extremely friendly and amicable ... from front desk to maintenance and housekeeping. Excellent staff! Outdoor hot tubs were still open.
Rooms: Spacious and clean.
Nearby activities: Kalispell is close ... as is Glacier National Park ... and, of course, a certain lake.
Safety: Quiet & serene.
Walkability: Corner store is very close and is a short walk to different pubs.
Food and drinks: All around the lake.

We stayed at the lodge for two nights during our trip to Montana. The staff member who registered us was extremely friendly and shared highlights of the area and recommended a nearby bison range for us to explore. Our suite was very clean, comfortable, and roomy. The view from the balcony was gorgeous! The onsite restaurant staff were friendly and the food was good! Just what we were looking for after a long day on road.

Great location and 24-hour pool and hot tub access is awesome. We didn't try the continental breakfast, so we can't comment on that. We found the beds to be comfortable and the rooms were clean.

So impressed staying here with my young kids (2 & 4). The room was great, better than the pictures. The amenities were a great perk. We loved the location and the size of the hotel. We would love to have had a group of families stay here next time!

This is a wonderful place to stay outside of Glacier National Park. Beautiful rooms, common lawn with games, a fire pit, hot tubs, and endless pool. This scores in the top 3 places I've stayed. It's a must-see.
Rooms: Plenty of space
Nearby activities: Lake activities, close to GNP
Food and drinks: Restaurant at the hotel
Noteworthy details: There was a deer outside our window. Lake view

My husband rented their last room Last night. The room was beautiful and very clean. The robes in the closet and candies in the bed were a nice touch.

Had a great time at the Mountain Lake Lodge on vacation! Not too far from Glacier National Park. Dog friendly (selected rooms) is very much appreciated. Dedicated parking spot for each room was amazing. Our room was very large and felt more like a small condo with a separate bedroom and a large living area with kitchenette and dining area for two. The room had a large balcony with views of Flathead Lake. There are many activities on site including a nice pool/spa area. We really enjoyed the local area around Bigfork MT as well, lots of recreation opportunities outside of Glacier National Park. We can’t wait to return again!
Safety: Very safe area. Dedicated parking spot, well lit parking area.
Food and drinks: Continental basic breakfast included. Did not try the on site restaurant this time.

Loved this place. The infinity pool is the best pool and the 2 hot tubs were nice. The view of the lake was lovely. Rooms were big and clean. Wish there would have been house keeping included. Breakfast is yogurt, bananas and prepackaged muffins.

We had a great experience here. The room was very clean and spacious (it even had a huge tub in it). There is a restaurant on site (I rate in a separate post) that is really good. The views are fantastic from many different places. They have lots of activities like Cornhole available. The infinity pool and hot tubs were not crowded and were clean. A great experience and would stay here again.

I absolutely loved our stay at MLL! Everything from check-in to checkout was pleasant. The staff are friendly and helpful. We grabbed dinner at the restaurant, then swam and soaked in the pool and hot tub while watching the sunset. Our room was great. Very spacious and quiet. The bed was not the most comfortable, although it did not prevent a good night's sleep. We would definitely stay here again!

Rarely do I feel a hotel is "IMPRESSIVE" but Mountain Lake Lodge is just that! Our relatives live close by so usually we stay with them, but they were full for a family function so decided to book a room.
The property is beautiful and clean with a lovely view of Flathead Lake. We could literally lay in bed and look at the water! Our room was HUGE: Separate bedroom, large clean bathroom with nice toiletries, large living room complete with gas fireplace, sink, cabinets, small fridge, microwave, desk area and coffee maker. There were even 2 TVs. The HVAC worked well, looked newer, was quiet and even had a fan only feature which we love. A large deck with furniture overlooked the putting green, pool, and game area with Flathead Lake as the backdrop. It was peaceful and quiet. The room was fresh and clean, bedding was nice, service was cheerful and professional. Free breakfast was pastries, fruit, yogurt, coffee and juice. We loved the quality of the coffee. Only improvement suggestion is to provide more protein choices, maybe cold hard boiled eggs? This is our new favorite place! Also loved the assigned parking spot, no driving around late trying to get a spot. Lots of useful information provided in the room. Congratulations to whoever owns this beautiful property, you are doing a fabulous job, thank you!
