Very difficult to work with. They over charged my multiple times and charged me different amounts for gas on the same day. Not helpful when I called to get it resolved over the phone.

This company is terrible. Last year when I first got my tank filled after buying my house they were supposed to send someone to inspect it first and since they have zero maintenance employees in the entire state they had the delivery driver inspect it. Right away we noticed a large ice mound forming on the top and the entire area smelled of propane. Called to get it fixed but again no maintenance in the area. So the delivery driver came out and determined yes it was leaking. Took over a week to get someone out to fix it. He thought he fixed it but nope. They filled the tank 3 times for over $1500 in charges in just over a month. Finally got another person to come look at it is said for sure broken and brought another tank. But no scheduled delivery with it so he hooked it up to the leaking tank. Finally after over a month they were able to run new lines. But by then another fill. I have called them several times each time they say they will remove the charges. But they don't. Now it is 30 degrees below zero and we are out of propane because they won't deliver it until I pay them. Oh and when you call they just lie to you about helping you. Horrible company zero stars.

If you are currently leasing a tank and being forced to pay over $4 a gallon due to the contract, cancel the lease. When they refuse to pick up the tank, call the Montana Consumer Protection Agency. They will help. You’re not powerless.

Almost a year after canceling our account, we finally got AmeriGas to come get our tank. They’ve have continued to bill us for tank rent and failed to show up after many requests for them to come get the tank. After being told we could ignore this rental fee, they sent us to collections for not paying it. Their customer service is abysmal at best.

AmeriGas responds to fill requests rapidly and on-time. They are discrete and respectful of property. I would highly recommend their service!

I used the retail site on frontage road for years, corporate has decided that they don’t want to fill tanks for rvs or barbecue nor answer the phone unless you have a customer number, I guess they don’t want any retail customers only delivery

2nd ir 3rd time now we have called to order propane and get disconnected 2 times. Told 3 different prices from 3 people all in the matter of a few hrs. Filed complaint before for the same scamming actions and they never make it right or try to right the issues. Already bad enough they raised the price over a dollar in a month for they can take advantage of people during the winter storms but completely unacceptable to keep having the same issues of price being raised every few hours by different people!

Their customer service is terrible! No local contact, phone system hangs up on the caller, bills arrive 30 days after they are due with a late due notice, failed to show for a refill on the scheduled date and no call to set up alternative. If you have an opportunity & means, go somewhere else

We ordered propane on 12/12/2022, paid for expedited delivery was supposed to get it between the 13th through the 19th. Never got it. Called every day up through today and were told "it will be there today". I've called, my husband has called and it is DAILY "it will be there today"...never showed up. This is absolutely the WORST SERVICE ever. I've never run across such blatant disregard for customers in my life. This does not look good on you, AmeriGas.
