“Though Toucan owners recently moved into their new location they have not lost any of the things that make Toucan such a great place to shop for art, gifts, and framing. The new building and design is flooded with natural light and the space is welcoming and colorful. (Don’t forget to look up at the gorgeous wood ceiling). I love Toucan when I'm looking for the perfect unique gift (in a variety of prices) and my sister and I have had several pieces framed to perfection.”

“What a surprising find in an off-the-beaten-path area. It's not really off-the-beaten-path, but it also isn't near an area of Billings that is replete with galleries of all kinds. It's a nice place to see works from local or area artists. The collections change with some frequency. Artists can lease a spot to display their art at a reduced rate in exchange for volunteering to work in the gallery for a couple of hours a week. That's also a great opportunity for the artists to be available to answer questions and talk about their own work. An artist wanting to have a showing in this gallery/coop sends a few pieces from their portfolio for review by a committee. I have the sense there may be some limitations on the number or kind of art at any one time, just to ensure some visual variety. With a mix of all medium, from brass, alcohol paint, water color, photography, wood, and more, there's always something new. On my most recent visit, I was able to spend time chatting with one of the artists about one piece in that collection -- a conceptual work of her cat. It was stunning. I also learned some of the artists here will accept a commission for a private work. What a way to get a one-of-kind gift for someone!”

“This brother and sister run shop is a true gem! They made time to get to know me as well as making the visits to their shop a trip my children look forward to. The customer service and quality work they provide is something that is rare to come across. I would highly recommend taking anything you need framed to these two and you will be glad you did. They also have a beautiful collection of framed art to choose from. Most of the pictures are nice western and nature themed pieces.”
