THEY WILL RENT YOU A CAR THAT VERY WELL COULD KILL YOU AND THEN CHARGE YOU MORE MONEY FOR IT!! RENTER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!Never rent from this company. I reserved a 4 whe drive vehicle to drive in the snow. The guy at the desk gave me a rear whe drive van, which is the worst vehicle one can drive in the snow. The associate promised me that it was a safe vehicle to drive in the snow, as I live in Arizona.I was not able to stop at a stop sign, went through an intersection, through a bush and tree into someone's yard.I do everything I need to to report the accident including calling the return location and cooperate number. The vehicle was towed. I then get a phone call 3 day later asking me where the vehicle is. Then I get my bill which is over 150$ more than it should have been because cooperate charged me for 500 miles worth of gas when I only traveled 147.I have been working witb Vicki the office manager to sort all of this out. She has not returned my phone calls for 2 weeks.THIS ACCIDENT COULD HAVE KILLED ME!The employees here do not care about safety or anything other than making money. As they have done what they needed to make me feel like they were taking care of the situation to end up saying my car was not returned and charging me for extra miles, then not returning my phone calls to adjust the payment.Shame on all of you

I just rented a ford escape because I got in a car accident. I was shook up and just wanted a car, thought it was $250 for two days. Nope, it’s $225 per day! I got charged $736 for two days. That is completely taking advantage of someone… In no way should a rental EVER COST THIS MUCH, unless I’m driving a damn Ferrari. I am so upset, not only did my car get totaled but now have to fork over my house payment for using this car for 2 days. I’ve never been this upset with a company and will never be using them again, nor will anyone in my family. Oh, and would like to add that I googled rental car prices in Billings for that day and it was $30-125 a day.

I just started using Avis for all my car rental needs.1st time went amazing.2nd time went horrible which went into the 3rd time. 2nd time I was going to be 2 hours late so I used the app to adjust the drop off time and the rate was adjusted which jumped the bill by like 60 bucks. I was ok with that and agreed. I get to Avis at the agreed time and drop off. The non helpful person at the counter was to lazy to check it in and asked that I leave the keys, so I did. I was tired after driving for 19 hours. They didn't check the car in until 5:25 the next morning which then Avis charged me an additional day which ended up being 4 hundred dollars more. I needed another rental that same night for a few days but because of this my credit card was locked and I had an overdraft fee. No one was able to help me and I needed another rental. No one yet has helped me with this issue. I just keep getting pushed along to the next person on the phone.I turned in my 3rd rental 12 hours early but didn't see any kind of credit for doing that. But I get charged hundreds of dollars for 2 hours! How is that fair ?Anyway that's my Avis experience.

Beware, Avis people at the counter will look you in the eye and lie to you. After our flight was delayed into Billings Montana, we asked for our prepaid rental vehicle at the Avis counter. We were told there were no vehicles left and to come back 5 hours later at 3:00 p.m. to get a vehicle. When I protested, said this was unacceptable and I told them I was going to call Avis customer service. Magically the agent at the Avis counter within 10 seconds was able to walk over grab a set of keys and give us a vehicle. Not only do they lie about not having vehicles, they also lied about what time I returned the vehicle and charged me a late fee! My fight left at 6:25 in the morning, I returned the vehicle at 5:30 a.m. in the morning. However they show the vehicle being checked in at 7:00 p.m. in the evening, nearly 14 hours later. How can anyone do business with someone you can't trust? Not only this, but when we found out our flight was going to be delayed I called the Billings Montana Avis counter multiple times and left multiple messages to arrange/make sure a vehicle would be ready for us. However, they never answered the phone and never bothered to call me back by using my information from the messages I left. Beware, poor customer service with Avis rent a car, how could anybody recommend this rental car company with this experience, they overcharged me, did not live up to their promises, and behavedwithout integrity.

We rented a Ford Expedition out of Billings, and returned to Denver. The staff at both locations were very helpful. The cost of our rental was reasonable.In addition, due to a cracked windshield during our travels, we had to exchange vehicles in Idaho Falls. That desk staff were wonderful in solving our dilemma and helping our vacation continue.

I'm a President Club member. No two class car upgrade offered, not even one car upgrade. I was informed that I should have called ahead to let them know I was President club and eligible for an upgrade. This is the first I heard of such a procedure. Why would a customer need to remind Avis of their loyalty and continued business. I am questioning the value of patronizing Avis with my continued business

My experience was at the Billings airport branch. They ripped me off by promising me I'd pay 3.50 a Gallon for gas by filling tank with them "20 cent under local rates" I was told.They ended up charging me 3.50 a gallon for the gas as well as an additional 50 dollars for the service. In the end that tank of gas cost me $115. Car had 16 gallon tank and I was promised the price of $3.50 a gallon, not $7.There's other reviews stating the same issue with the same branch. They do this intentionally and clearly have bad business practices.

HORRIBLE. I reserved a premium SUV 8 months in advance AND prepaid for it, and they gave me a small SUV, which was significantly cheaper, but they wouldn't adjust the price that I had already paid. The “customer service” was RUDE and AWFUL

I cannot recommend the Billings Avis Airport rental location. They are a dishonest business location by adding fuel service to the invoice. 3rd. time in a row, even after I have called to have it removed and file a complaint each time.
