The Babcock Theatre is an excellent and fun historical theater with a wonderful, great environment and perfect ambiance. You can feel the historical excitement in the spacious facility, which has comfortable stadium seating and exuberant lighting and sound. It has the feel of an older theater with considerable charm, featuring old advertisements on the walls. The popcorn is good, you can pump your own butter, and the beer is wonderful. It is a reliable place to catch older movies on the big screen and also hosts events like comedy shows. While not a place of current luxury, it is a great, quiet venue where many hope nothing ever changes.
Always enjoy our time at the Babcock. It's affordable and great entertainment for the whole family. Has membership opportunities that I have not taken advantage of yet but it is on the horizon. Staff is friendly, as well.
