Transferred all my meds to CVS from Walmart. I have been a customer at Walmart pharmacy for over 12 years and in the last two years I've had nothing but headaches trying to get meds refilled there. It was a nightmare going without medication while no one at the pharmacy at Walmart were on the same page getting six different answers all the time. CVS has been amazing and I've had no issues if something is wrong I'm notified immediately. Something Walmart never did for me . I'm able to pick up meds in the drive through without any issues which is nice since I'm disabled and sometimes walking a short distance is difficult.

My daughter is out of state on family business in Montana (about 1,200 miles away) and needs a prescription refill. She visited her closest CVS pharmacy to transfer her prescription (a VERY important prescription) from a Murrieta CA CVS to her local CVS pharmacy. No luck. CVS told her they couldn't do that. They gave her no reason for CVS' inability to fill prescriptions at any of their pharmacies, so I just spent $40 to get it to her in 3 days by UPS (this weighed 1/10 of one pound.) This shipping cost alone was about twice the cost of the medication. Comment: DO NOT use CVS Pharmacy to try to fill prescriptions while you are traveling. They are UNABLE TO FILL PRESCRIPTIONS AT ANY OF THEIR PHARMACIES EXCEPT THE ONE WHERE THE PRESCRIPTION WAS CALLED IN BY THE DOCTOR. Apparently they are more interested in individual store profits. Rite-Aid can do it. Walgreens can do it. Save-On can do it. CVS CANNOT!!! I strongly recommend dropping CVS as your pharmacy of choice (drop them like a hot rock).

I left town without my medicine. The local pharmacy called and they were able to fill my script before they closed for the holiday. Thank you CVS.
