I have been with the optical department for years. I was so happy when they decided to keep it open after Shopko closed. But now we are facing a no in house Dr and I may have to go elsewhere.

I had the best eye exam yesterday at Shopko Optical! Naomi Sportsman assisted me through the whole thing! She made me feel comfortable and made me laugh! I will definitely be back! Thank you Naomi for being so caring and kind! Merry Christmas!

Thanks to Aldrin I got amazing glasses that look great on me. Aldrin had amazing customer service that I really appreciated. I got my glasses in record time. The best thing about my new glasses is Aldrin recommended the night vision option on them & I’m so grateful cuz it works amazingly! I have had trouble driving at night until now! Thx Aldrin!

I was able to secure an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. The optometrist who examined me ( I didn't get the full exam, since I am also under the care of a retinal specialist), was very thorough and skilled. He was friendly and it was a good experience. The young lady who helped me with frames and lenses was knowledgable, and presented me with a clear picture of cost, in line with what my insurance would cover...she was just the right. mix of informative without being to "used car salesman" pushy. I would and will definitely recommend Shopko to my friends and family.

I'm completely floored by the attitude from one girl. After trying 4 pair of contacts, she told me they would start charging for the next pair I wanted to sample. If that is the policy, fine. But the first 4 should have been a better match. Go to a real doctor, who is in the facility. These doctors are on a video screen and you get someone different every time. Very impersonal. I felt like I should settle on what contacts I tried last. I won't go back there. I did settle too BTW, but only because I intend to see some one else soon. It won't let me choose 0 stars so I guess a 1 is as close as I will get.

I called to schedule an appointment a few weeks ago. I explained that I have kertoconus and had cross linking and I need hard contact lenses. The person on the phone put me on hold, asked someone in his office if the doctor could see me and fit me for contacts. The answer was “yes” and if there were any issues, he would call me. Fast forward to today, I show up for my appointment and was told that they tried calling me that morning, left me a voicemail to tell me they could not assist me. I could have an exam, but could not be fitted for hard contacts. The point of an exam is to either get contacts or glasses. I explained that I left work early, waited weeks for this appointment and was told the day of the appointment that I could not be fitted for contacts. I got told sorry, the manager went home sick but she would know that I was upset. Honestly, how will that help me?Had I known this weeks ago, I could’ve searched for another doctor.Epic fail regarding customer service.

Kendra went above and beyond delivering 5 star service. This was our first time getting glasses. I was extremely nervous, but she made me feel comfortable and graciously answered every question I had. I would recommend her service every single chance I get.

The personal were quick no wait time. They explained everything by Answering all my questions. And very helpful and knowledgeable. They also let me know the prices for what I needed and wanted.I was notified right away as soon as my glasses came in. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have used Shopko Optical a few times the last couple years, and received ok service. My last visit had an employee complaining about other employees, and made a comment about how my insurance “was stupid”, because it made them fill out a form in a different way. I would tell management to remind your employees that customers, while although not always right, still are the reason you are in business. A small amount of professionalism is required to make sure your customers keep confidence in your business!

Notified my glasses were ready to pick up - but they weren't. They took the try on pair from the wall, put my new lenses in and explained the design was discontinued and I had to accept these or reorder in a different color. Waited for this whole process to take place. Is this common practice? No discount, no we're sorry, just here you go. Beware consumers.

49 yrs old. Never wore glasses before. Sent out the door with no info. No consultation to check the glasses. I said they’re blurry. Gal said I’d get used to them. 45 days later I am not used to them. Blurry. Only thing that has been helpful is watching tv. Cannot wear them continuously as I cannot see. Outside the 30 day window.yes. My bad for that. But was genuinely trying to give it time. Spent $500 on a pair of glasses that do nothing for me. Thanks shopko. Will not go back. Will not recommend

Very friendly staff. Had a great experience. I don't know if it was just a chaotic day or what but it took quiet a while of juggling between different employees to get everything checked out. All in all good experience, just don't expect a super in and out visit.

I was super impressed by the staff and eye doctor. They were very courteous and very personable. They gave me many options in what I needed to do for my eye care. I will definitely be returning!

We love Dr Gingrich and have gone to him every year for at least six years. That being said Shopko needs to supply more help on the outside of the dr's office. There were only two techs available for more than ten people. One lady walked out because she wasn't told about being seen by a virtual dr. This is a booming business but the shopko corp might just loose it if you don't get them some more help on a steady basis!

I have been getting my eyeglasses here for a couple years and the staff are very nice. Even if it was just to tighten my glasses. Sometimes short staffed but it's worth it.
