Unmatched customer service. They help me set up a couple tents 30min before they closed and let me exchange the one I bought the very next day for a smaller model.

Crazy Mountain offers such a high quality and superior variety of outdoor clothing and gear! I always look forward to coming here whenever I visit Bozeman- the staff is very knowledgeable , friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is upbeat and fun with merchandise displayed in an organized and very attractive way! I love this store and highly recommend it to anyone in need of long lasting, high quality gear and clothing for all seasons. They also offer a great variety of durable, awesome backpacks and luggage in a variety of useful sizes. Thank you Crazy Mountain for the good energy and great offerings you bring to Bozeman ! I can’t wait to come back!

This is my favorite local shop. They are always helpful, and very knowledgeable.I needed a footprint ordered for a Big Agnes tent I couldn't find anywhere else, they called BA up and see if they could track it down for me, called me a couple of days later and said it was on the way for me.Just this summer I was looking for a decently specialized map, and while they didn't carry it, they gave me a shortlist of local vendors with the best map selections. One of those vendors had it, but Crazy Mountain saved me a lot of legwork on tracking it down for my backpacking adventure.This place is where I go first for a lot of my backpacking gear needs, and I hope to see them continue to be a valuable community resource for years to come.
