Came in 11/25 for a ps5 & vr. Wasn’t greeted when we came in, and we asked about pricing & before I said anything regarding Price Match, I was told that they aren’t offering price match from anywhere at the time Seemed unprofessional not allowing me to finish my pricing questions considering it says online you price match. He didn’t even take the time to understand I would have bought it all without the price match, so I left considering I can give my business somewhere else that would allow me to speak.

Consistently bad customer service. Either unhelpful or flat out wrong when I ask basic questions about accessories for my Xbox. They always act like they’re doing you a huge favor by even acknowledging you. If you’re lucky enough to get them to acknowledge you.Only reason I have them 2 stars and not 1 is because I’ve been able to find what I’m looking for as often as not.

Our 14yo saved up for months to buy an oculus meta quest 3, which he purchased at this GameStop on the release date, 10/11/23. He didn’t keep the receipt, but did keep the box and everything in it. Today, 11/5/23 (less than a month later), the oculus visually glitched and then turned off during normal use, and would not turn on or charge. My son and I came in to GameStop together for assistance, with everything back in the box.There were two employees in the store, and no other customers. The staff immediately said they could not help us, since we had not purchased their extended warranty. They didn’t seem to have any further recommendations.I asked to get a copy of the receipt, in that case, so we could go through the manufacturer’s warranty. (I knew from my own research, not from them, that the manufacturer’s warranty was 30 days.) They also couldn't help with that. They gave me an 800 number to call. I spent about 30 minutes on the call out in my car, trying to get a copy of the receipt, and then the person I was speaking to accidentally hung up on me and didn’t call back. 0_oAt that point I decided to look online and try to do some trouble-shooting on the oculus myself. I was able to get the oculus up and running again fairly easily.I was then also able to easily buy a 2-year warranty directly from meta quest - for much less than the price GameStop had offered for the same time period, $40 instead of $150.We are left feeling it would have been much better to buy online, or from some other store in town, one that keeps (at minimum) 30-day records of receipts. Losing a receipt on a big-ticket item sometimes happens, and it’s basic customer service to handle situations like ours.

Tried going at about 8:40. Website and door hours say open until 9pm. They were closed early. Gave 3 stars instead of 1 because it wasn’t crazy to be closed at that time. Just annoying.

It seems they’re never open on time, I’ve been sitting outside the store since 2:45 pm, showed up and they had a sign pasted to the door saying they were leaving from 3:30-4:00pm and would be back? It’s now 4pm it’s been an hour and 15 mins and no one’s here still. Will be speaking with a manager

I just drove 30 min to get here and it’s closed!!! Seriously???!!! The sign wasn’t even changed, it says from 10 to 21 hrs and it’s 18:29!!!! Thank you very much

Walk up to the door to purchase a game and the guy working is standing in front of the door, which has a sign that reads, "back in 30", but does not specify when that will be. I ask the employee if he knows when they'll be open and he replies, "when I'm done with my break." I said alright and walked back to my car. Cool, that's the last time I'm coming here. Digital only from here on out. Gamestop isn't what it used to be.

Max helped us this morning, we spent over 500 bucks there didn't know we could get insurance, he never offered it. Never offered a tempered glass for the Nintendo switch we bought. If this stuff is avaliable why were not asked about it. The reciept says we declined it the insurance, how can we decline if we are not asked.
