Great second-hand baby and toddler store. Found everything we needed, cheap and in one place. Well organized for the amount of stuff they have.

Absolutely my favorite place to shop for the kids! They have such a great variety of items and always have nice brand name items. Janel and John have done a great job with taking over. No where else in town can you go get a huge amount of clothes/shoes for your kiddos for under $100.

This place is so great. I can get in and out quickly, and I always manage to find what I’m looking for. Staff are helpful and the prices are more than reasonable. I would also say they do an impressive job with re-selling quality pieces.

I’ve never gone there and not walked away with a gem. Plenty of name brand stuff, Bogs, Patagonia, Kate spade, etc. Sometimes requires some patience and digging to find, but so worth it. Kids wear their clothes for such a small fraction of time that it seems such a waste, both of money and carbon, to not buy used!

I did most of my daughters school clothes for Pre K & Kindergarten here. It’s an amazing store! Love it!!!

The quality of clothing has been lacking the last few months-stains, faded, pilling, missing buttons etc. Prices are now way too high for quality. They don’t buy much right now-they also tuned down a lot of quality name-brand items which I don’t understand- but if they would thin out the junk and clearance damaged and overused items, they would have space for quality items.

I generally enjoy shopping here but the prices have really seemed to have gone up recently. Averaging $4.50 for a single article of clothing. My biggest complaint is that everything reeks of tide or some other nasty endocrine disrupting laundry detergent. I even soak the clothes for 1-3 days in baking soda and vinegar solution and the smell is still strong.

Always great! I’ve sold and bought plenty of clothes and even some toys! They work hard to get things sorted out and are so gracious.

This is the best store in Bozeman for children's items. They have a HUGE selection, ranging from clothes (including onesies, pajamas, swimsuits and snow gear when in season, shoes, hats, pants, shirts, etc) to toys (puzzles, rocking horses, dolls, etc) to cribs and bassinets. All of their items meet current safety criteria and are in very good condition. I do recommend washing/disinfecting before use, only because i am unsure of their sanitation process or what they use to sanitize.

This is my least favorite location. I've been using once upon a child for about 6 years now to sell outgrown clothes and rebuy bigger sizes for both of my children. It's always been a wonderful and fast experience until I tried the Bozeman location. It takes weeks to have your stuff gone through. I've never had to wait more than a few hours in the past. I'm aware they are very busy people, but I end up waiting weeks for them to barely buy anything. Even passing up on brand new clothes with tags still on because "they are too worn." Yet I've seen some pretty dingy stuff on their racks. They have a pretty good selection of clothing and books. I just don't like how much of a hassle it is to bring clothes in and how picky they have become. They also aren't very helpful. They watch you come in with boxes and don't even say anything. Just point to thekiosk and say ok go.

Under new ownership and they now take in items all day long! I no longer have to drive 45+ mins just to get turned away. The new owner is very friendly too! So excited for the change! More selection of clothing now too!

About twice a year we drive down to Bozeman to Once Upon A Child to replenish the kids' wardrobes. Staff were friendly and helpful and we found what we needed. The store is under new management and was packed with fall consignment items. If you are bringing clothing with you, it's best to call ahead so you know what to expect.

We really appreciate this shop. They usually have what we are looking for. They have changing stalls, books, shoes, color and size coded clothes.
