I shouldn’t have to help you do a job you’re supposed to be good at. Felt uncomfortable

I tried to go here at 8:20pm (they are open until 9pm). I was looking to run a quick errand after a long workday. The gals in the store looked right at me standing by the door, chose to ignored me, and continued to close the till. I'm disappointed that they didn't uphold their hours as states on the front door and online.

I was worried about my hair but after I went home, washed it, and styled it, it was beautiful! The sweet lady even let me squeeze in without an appointment. I’m so sorry with the way I acted and the things I said, this was one of the best haircuts I’d had in awhile.

Used the Salon services. I was so impressed with the stylists and the wonderful way they listen to their customer and do whatever is necessary to make them happy.

Most of the employees on the floor are friendly and helpful but the few times I made a purchase with a free gift included, (for instance a $200 drybar spend was supposed to include a free full size product, the manager gave me a mini size from a cheaper brand) they either didn’t have it in stock and gave me something of lesser value or sighed and acted as if I was wasting their precious time.I’ll keep begrudgingly shopping here until we get a Sephora.

I usually always love ulta but the salon has now messed up two haircuts and my 65 year old moms highlights. The hairdresser didn’t listen to my mom’s requests, or even offer to fix it when she was visibly upset with the result. I also have been a very loyal customer (and a former employee at a different store) and was treated like absolute garbage when I had a issue wanting to redeem my points recently (over 1200 spent in the past year, and they just somehow disappeared?! I am a diamond member so they shouldn’t have expired i also was treated like a liar when asking about the $25 services coupon that as a diamond member you receive.overall very disappointed. have never had experience like that with ulta but m will probably not be shopping there anymore or using the salon especially after my moms experience! Makes me very very sad

very bad service, I went to have my extensions serviced, and they did a very bad job, I had to remove them after 3 days, I called and called to make an appointment to remove them and they ignored me, I do not recommend going to the hairdresser.

Hairstylist Victoria is AMAZING! I recently got a hair cut here at Ulta Bozeman. I haven't had the best luck finding good hairstylists in the past, so I was a bit nervous. I was doing something completely different with my hair. I was cutting off about 4 inches, getting layers, and bangs. Immediately, Victoria made me feel comfortable and reassured that she was going to do a good job. She was extremely gentle when washing/brushing my hair. Once she finished, I couldn't be happier with my hair! She did an outstanding job and I will definitely be going back! Hands down the best stylist I have ever had! When going to Ulta, ask for Victoria! You won't regret it!

I have gone to Randi at the eyebrow bar for a year now. She is the ONLY one I will go to in Bozeman! She’s sweet, and super duper light handed. She deserved a raise!

I've got my brows done many places and I've never had someone do such a bad job. She just cleaned up around my brows and didn't actually shape them. Got dye all over my forehead. Will never go to Ultas salon again.

I came in on Sunday at 3:30 PM for my 3:45 appointment with Tynisha. My appointment began at 4:05. I explained I wanted my hair jet black (as it was faded) and I had booked an all over color. She told me she would do my roots and then do a gloss treatment in the bowl after washing my hair. I asked some questions as I have never had this application done before in 15 years of getting my hair dyed jet black. I have only had dye applied by brush from root to end. At 5:20 I laid in the shampoo bowl for an additonal 30 minutes after she washed my hair and after she applied the gloss to my hair. This was really uncomfortable but I was trying to trust the process. After she washed it out, I had explained I wanted a blowout, with waves and curls, I showed her several pictures too. Well at 6 PM she began blow drying my hair, but she had to stop communicating with me as the salon was closed and she was supposed to be taking a class- and there were hairdressers near us on Zoom listening to an instructor about keratin treatments. She finished drying my hair in silence and not only was it not jet black, it was frizzy (she even called my hair frizzy!) And it was straight. She said she couldn't style my hair like the pictures because I had no layers, which honestly didn't make sense. There was absolutely no wave or curled ends even. But what was more upsetting was feeling rushed out and paying almost $90 and not getting what I asked for. I left and took pictures of my hair to confirm that it wasn't jet black, as I could tell it wasn't jet black but it still looked dark in the salon lighting, so I was unsure, but now I am not. I am here on vacation so I cannot come in for a color correction. This is really upsetting because I wasted over 2 hours of my time and I felt rushed because she was late to my appointment, and had a class she had to attend during the last half of my appointment, and as such I had to pay for it by getting a mediocre treatment. She was nice but the lack of attention to detail, and her letting me walk out with my hair looking the way it did, comes off as very unprofessional, and she is considered a Master stylist. I am very disappointed and don't know what else to do but write a review as I cannot come back in. Attached is photos of my "wavy and curly blowout" and my "jet black" hair. I also had dye all around my face- forehead and cheeks, which was the least of my worries but still disappointing and unprofessional. Also, upon further inspection and talking to others, my hair is DAMAGED. My hair did NOT look like this before going in, and I've NEVER had frizzy hair! Tynisha damaged my hair! I am thinking she used too high of a developer, people are asking if I got highlights and that doesn't make sense if I got black hair dye applied, but it does if she used the wrong developer and LIFTED my hair color.Update: after going in, and spending about half an hour at the store, I got a refund. But the salon manager never came out to speak to me- she spoke to the store manager through the walkie talkie who then relayed info to me. It was VERY unprofessional and rude, but the store manager was new so I was patient, but I've wasted 3 hours, a lot of gas and nothing but a patchy dye job to show for it. The manager also asked me if I got my hair done at another salon "because it looked black" and I had to argue that this is not jet black. I am NOT happy with how I was treated and I have damaged hair, so I will be writing corporate to report the Tynisha and the salon manager, because this was all unacceptable. How can managers treat paying and loyal customers like this? Why argue with me? I am furious.

Holy smokes. This place has the most unprofessional managers and staff I have ever dealt with. They do not stand by their stylists sub par work (completely wrong color and charged for a hair styling they didn't even do) and then accursed my wife of going to another salon to redye her hair a different color. Are you kidding me? What a joke.
