“We got married in July at The Woodlands and it was the most perfect day! The Woodlands is such a beautiful venue. Their team is so helpful through the planning process and the day of. We had Emily as our day-of coordinator and she was AMAZING! We had just 100 people and everyone fit great, without it feeling like there was too much room. We loved the secluded feel and ability to be outside. We are from out of state so the rental option was so nice. We are so happy with our venue choice!!”

“What a gem of a venue! You can tell that Whitney and her husband really love this spot and they put so much work and love into making it perfect for any occasion. All the little details make this place a photographers dream. I had my wedding here in June 2026 and our guests couldn't stop talking about how lovely the space is. Plenty of outdoor and indoor areas to celebrate means that weather won't matter on you special day. Tables and chairs being included and set up in advance makes decorating a breeze.”

“We held our June 2026 wedding here. It was absolutely perfect!! Some highlights are- Teri is the manager and she is so kind and helpful, there are multiple options for the ceremony, new running water restrooms, optional on site cabin rentals over looking the creek, 3 day weekend rental so we were able to set up the day before and come back the morning after to tear down (you do not have to put tables and chairs away which is so helpful) very laid back venue- fire pit was enjoyed, the lawn is really well maintained, this time of year Teri had flower baskets which added to the ambiance! We chose the Creekside venue and we are so happy with our choice! We recommend the Hilton at Four Corners for a hotel for guests as its 1/2 mile away 😊 there is also a children's playground behind the tent and we used the 2 keg setup they provide. The venue is huge- lots of photo opportunities for you and your guests- the large parking lot is directly next to the venue so your guests have to do minimal walking. Thank you Teri and team for our dream wedding!”

“Attended the short film screening tonight, saw a flyer around town and decided to check it out. Very cool venue and this event was free. Would have been nice to have some complimentary water or paid beverage options (I entered through the main Street entrance) and didn't see a bar or any food/drink options. The venue was clean. Sound system was great. Atmosphere was excellent.”

“Our daughter was married in June 2026, and we could not have asked for a better place to host her wedding reception than The Baxter in downtown Bozeman. From the very beginning, Grace, the venue manager, made the entire process incredibly smooth. We really appreciated Grace’s flexibility with scheduling and her willingness to accommodate our daughter’s vision for her reception. She worked hard to help us stay within our budget, and when we decided on the fly that we wanted to extend the open bar during the reception, she immediately helped us figure out how to make it happen. Every interaction with Grace was easy, friendly, and genuinely helpful. She has a warmth about her that put our whole family at ease. We also especially appreciated that she was there throughout the reception, making sure everything went smoothly. Beyond Grace, the entire venue staff was fantastic. The bartenders and servers were wonderful, and the food was lovely as well. The chicken dish and toffee cake were particularly popular with our guests! We also loved that the groom and groomsmen had such a nice room at the venue to get ready in, and the space worked beautifully for the photographer as well. The Baxter itself is such a classic and beautiful spot for a wedding reception. Being right in downtown Bozeman meant our guests could easily continue celebrating afterward and then walk back to their hotels. Many of the other venues we considered were outside of town, so The Baxter’s location was one of the primary reasons we chose it. It made transportation so much easier and gave us peace of mind knowing our guests could enjoy the evening without having to drive afterward. Most of all, Grace was present. She showed up for our daughter and son-in-law in a way that felt like it went beyond her job description, and that care showed in every detail of the day. She genuinely wanted their reception to be everything they hoped it would be. Choosing The Baxter—and having Grace there to guide us through the entire process—was one of the best decisions our family made for our daughter’s wedding. We are so grateful to Grace and the entire Baxter staff for helping make such an important day so special. We would wholeheartedly recommend The Baxter to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding reception venue in downtown Bozeman.”

“My partner and I go here for the gym. The membership rates are very reasonable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the facilities are clean. The gym has everything we need and never feels overly crowded. The location is perfect for us but might be out of the way for some. I do believe you can do a trial or pay for a single day if you want to give it a try.”
