Quiet, clean, very peaceful little cabin! Amazing porch area to sit & read a book, able to see for miles across the prairie. Shared little fridge, microwave, grill, toaster, coffee maker, etc. Would also recommend going to the Museum of the Plains Indian down the street.

Very much enjoyed our two night stay in a one-room cabin while visiting family in the area. We would definitely stay again during our next visit.Noteworthy details: Bathroom/shower is in a nearby building.

Really nice place to stay. It’s really peaceful because there’s nothing else there so no noise. It has everything you need, the room has a heater if it gets cold, a sofa and a table and a little porch outside to enjoy the sunset. The bathrooms are really clean and they give you everything, towels, soap, shampoo. And they have a little kitchen with a microwave, fridge and plates and glasses if you need something. In general the stay was lovely, only thing is that the bathrooms are outside and you have to walk a little and it gets really really cold so that’s the only bad thing, but they mention it in the description that they are shared bathrooms.

We booked "Traditional Cabin, Private Bathroom, Lake View (Buffalo-Cabin #2)" for 4 of us during an August 2021 Glacier NP trip. We arrived late (~10PM) and nearly couldn't find the place because it was PITCH DARK without visible signage or lighting. Address says at Durham Road but it's really a dirt road 50 feet from Durham that is very easily missed. We found our check-in details taped to the front door. I say "found" because it was PITCH DARK so I had to use the flashlight on my cell phone and the lights to the car in order to see it. The paper directed us to Cabin 2 and said the key could be found under the front mat. We walked over uneven terrain, down stairs, across more uneven terrain to find Cabin 2. It was PITCH DARK without any outdoor lighting or lights on in the cabin. The room itself (and really, it was just a square room) was fine. It seemed clean, but was very basic. We immediately noticed there wasn't a bathroom attached. The bathrooms and showers are located in another structure back across the uneven terrain, up the flight of stairs, across more uneven terrain to the bathroom structure. Any middle of the night bathroom trips would need to be made in the PITCH DARK without any outdoor lighting. We ultimately decided it wouldn't be safe for us to stay there, so we left. We luckily found a lovely room WITH A BATHROOM at Glacier Park Lodge that was much more comfortable and safe for our family of 4. BEWARE of the misleading "private bathroom" and bathroom "a few steps away" language that are totally inaccurate and meant to mislead. Definitely not appropriate for anyone with mobility issues.

Tipi experience was amazing. The bedding arrangements were neat. Bugs become your best friends. Hosts are warm and welcoming. Please make sure you don’t overstay even by 10 mins. They will turn cold on you.

Enjoyed our stay in our tipi. Brought our own bedding, they provided plenty of firewood to keep us warm. Was a fun new experience. The only down side was the barking of the dogs during the night. Would still recommend the tipi experience to others.

We were so looking forward to staying here, and it started off great. But then the rain came. It poured. Rain came through the top (predictably), under the tipi, and rolled down the poles and dropped where knots were tied to them. There was nowhere to stay dry, and unfortunately the owners gave no guidance on how to handle it. We were soaked and slept in the car. I reached out to the owners afterwards and received no response.

For $75 not including tax I think is a bit high. Very nice staff and facilities. I just don't find the tepee much better than a tent. And its a significant walk from your car to the tepee. I don't trust lighting a fire and having a bunch of smoke inside the tepee - but I didn't actually try it. Theres also a room with microwave, coffee pot, toaster and hot/cold water dispenser. Theres only one table in this room and no sink. The shower knobs were a bit strange in the end unit of the mens bathroom; hard to adjust temperature.
