Update your website and make it mobile friendly. It’s no longer 2000. Also a $2.50 Convenience fee for paying online? And why a completely different website to pay online? Most places these days give you discounts for going paperless and paying online. They don’t charge extra. Why is my bill not ready to view and pay on the 10th every month? I was told that is when it would be. Some months it is others it’s not? Step into the present, update.

In mid September we received a call from NW Energy saying that they needed to replace the natural gas meter outside our house. We were told that a contractor would show up to cut the concrete and that the meter would be replaced in 4 weeks. Within 3 days from identifying where the pipes were located someone showed up and cut the concrete. So it took only days to get a contractor to cut the concrete, which poses the question why did NW Energy have to start this 4 weeks in advance of the planned date? The month of October 2019 in Montana set all kinds of records for cold temperatures and our heater was running near nonstop at times with that “hole” present on the side of or house. 4 weeks later NW Energy was nowhere in sight. After 6 weeks we called to ask about the status. The response was that they were getting very close and that the next week they should get to our meter. Now it is week 8 and no one showed up. We called again and were told again that it’s going to be next week. So it is always “next week” when we call, and there is always another excuse why that is.We never had any issues with NW Energy in the past, but this time we are extremely disappointed with the service they are offering. We never asked for this! They initiated this service, so it is their responsibility to make absolutely sure they finish it on time. But of course they aren’t in a hurry to finish, because it is not their heater working overtime.

Our pilot light went out and I had no idea how to relight or turn gas off, called the emergency number and they had a service tech out within 10 minutes, he had the heat up and running within another 10 minutes. Outstanding service.
