My family and I made the drive out to Cascade from Great Falls today to visit Kitson’s because we heard good things. It was one of the worse experiences ever. The man that is there, one of the owners I believe, was so incredibly rude. He hates children. He follows you around like you are going to steal something. And is very unwelcoming. He is a grouchy old man and he suggested that I start spanking my child for having a s***** in his store! Even though they had crayons and markers for the kids to color while in there, he’s worried about a s****** He yelled at my daughter! Loudly, in front of everyone for not doing a thing wrong. Everything that we had ready to purchase, we put back. They lost money and quite frankly I lost money wasting my gas to drive out there. So if you are from out of town or out of state and heard “good things” about them, do NOT waste your time at Kitson’s. There is many other stores in the area with much nicer things and people than this unwelcoming, non-family friendly store. Save your time and money.

Love stopping in every time I’m in Montana! The selection always changes and I get many compliments on the clothing, jewelry and gifts I purchase. Well made and not something you can buy from your run of the mill department store. You’d never think a tiny little town like cascade would have a little gem like this in the midst of it! My sister who lives in Wisconsin knows of my love for this little shop and purchased a gift certificate for me for my birthday. I was delighted to receive it in Michigan before my upcoming trip out west! Stop in if you’re in the neighborhood, you won’t be disappointed.
