“First-time visit, only here for a short stay while in-between airbnb houses. Quaint lil' place in a small town. Deco takes me back to the downhome farm house that I spent some of my childhood in, with a touch of modern-day furnishings. The tile floor in the kitchen is heated...yup, heated. Nice to put your feet on when the temps are at 0, or below. -0 !Patty is awesome to work with when making reservations andis very helpful offering assistance about the town of Chester and its surroundings.Pet/service dog friendly always a plus for us. And...they have a light on for you!”

“Located right off the road and easy parking. The room wasn't fancy but it was very clean and cozy. Service was accommodating and made sure we had plenty of coffee. I am giving them 5 stars for also being pet friendly. Perfect for weary hunters.”

“Independence Inn aka MX Motel is a classic mid 20th century motel. It is clean and the beds are comfortable. They provide WiFi and satellite TV. The quick stop convenience store in front of the motel is where you check in. Staff was very personable and made you feel welcome.”
