Great local store. Doesnt seem big, but they seem to have what locals need and use the most. Friendly gals up front, helpful guys in back. Prices good, some stuff cheaper than Ace.

This place is awesome you can get lots of stuff there you can get your tools you can get paint your odds and ends paint brushes for paint and your tools and nails and stuff like that for your house it's pretty awesome amazing and terrific it's really awesome to meet place to get stuff at

The lumber here is absolutely garbage. Just really poor quality. I dunno who's doing the grading, or what mills they order from but that person should be looking for a new job. #2 or better, even #1 grade is just horrible. I wouldn't call it utility grade. I worked in a lumber yard in another state. I thought we had bad lumber but it is at least 10 times better. The stuff this place is selling should be culled out. Cut into firewood because that's all it's good for.Ok now that I got that off my chest. The employees are genuine, and very helpful. They've got a great selection of hardware and tools, or anything else you need for building. Just buy your lumber elsewhere otherwise you just wasted time and money.

Just as anywhere there is always a limit on when a return can be made. If it goes past however many days then I would not expect to be able to return it. Have you ever bought something from a pawnshop? If you return it there either you get in store credit or no return. Wbc return it if it doesn't go past the return date. You should always check your recipe and do your research before you buy something if you have a hint of possibility to return at some point. That way you will know when or how if necessary.

I gave 2 stars because its a decent store, but the staff are terrible. Every encounter I have had they have been extremely rude. I even heard an employee tell a costumer to just hurry and buy something because they are closing. Eventhough, there was a good 40 minutes before closing. I avoid at all costs.

Stopped in today to get some aluminum for a bracket I needed to recreate. James (I think that was his name) helped me get everything I needed. He then asked another employee, Jasmine, if she could help me with project. She got in contact with her dad who helped me fabricate the piece I needed. I don't know what I would have done without them. I am so grateful.

I am so impressed with the employees at WBC in Columbia Falls! Everyone I have encountered is friendly and helpful. I so appreciate having my lumber loaded. I won't be going to the big box stores for lumber again!!

WBC ... NO, NOT A 'DO IT BEST'... MORE OF A "DO IT WORST"! This is really a sad situation and business that is very arrogant and rude and do NOT value customers or treat them like they were important to their business. NO STARS OR NEGATIVE IS MY SELECTION. June 2017 I moved to C. Falls from Michigan. I started shopping the two hardware stores in town and soon discovered how terrible the customer service and attitudes were at WBC so I stopped going there. That was too bad for I lived in a very old place that needed a TON of fixing up!! Recently, January 2021, I tried WBC again and I was so surprised for they had an employee, Adam, who just did not belong there or fit in....for Adam was pleasant, eager to help me and every time I came in he was the same and he wasn't just standing around waiting for someone to come to him like most the staff are there....he came to me rapidly and his attitude was genuine to help me! That shocked me but very much pleased me so I kept trying them for about two months and I soon discovered once again, WBC really had not changed. I am going to share a recent experience that had confirmed my choice to never shop there again and to let as many as possible potential future customers know about my feelings and terrible experience, which really says it all and explains WBC pretty well. January 31st I was in desperate situation to repair something and quickly so I did not have time to go into the bigger hardware stores in Kalispell and the other hardware store in town did not have what I needed. I was not sure about one item in particular so I bought two different sizes ... therefore I needed to return or exchange one of those items, and that was a price of $2.79! For that whole order, which consisted of lots of smaller and cheaper items, I had to write a check which totaled $37.44. I was strapped for money and needed to buy another item so I took my one extra item back into WBC during the first week of February and intended on exchanging it for the other more expensive item that I needed. But oh no...that was not going to happen no matter what! Regarding returns when a check is written: WBC has a sign that is not in front of or easily seen by the customer, and there is no mention on any of the receipts about doing a return when a check is written. They would not even consider doing an exchange for the $2.79! The cashier was very rude and unfriendly and obviously lacked any common sense and intelligence therefore as she strictly quoted the rules by the book for which she was glued to... she did not show any care or concern about whether she was about to lose a customer for good over $2.79; over an issue that made absolutely no sense whatsoever ... for she was not handing out any money here!! I also need to tell you that the check had already cleared my bank account and I told her I could show her or prove that to her for that is why they have that policy to begin with, but it did not matter... You might think in this case she might have even checked with a supervisor considering the whole situation but no, not once did she even ask for further assistance, instead she coldly gave me the item and receipt back and said they would not do anything for 10 days from the time the check was written. I seriously cannot believe that there is a business that acts and thinks like this anymore these days! I am 58, worked customer service and retail jobs since I was 14 years old; went to college for business management; involved in extensive customer service training and this whole issue just so blows my mind on how wrong it was managed ... I strongly recommend and wish that others out there would NOT and do NOT support a business with this kind of mentality and employees that do not have any common sense nor value their customers! IN ADDITION TO POSTING THIS HONEST AND TRUE REVIEW; I GOT THIS RESPONSE FROM YELP AND THAT DOES NOT MAKE A BIT OF SENSE FOR IF THEY WERE TO HAVE ACTUALLY READ THE REVIEW THEY WOULD HAVE REALIZED THAT THEY OWE ME AN APOLOGY FOR LYING AND MAKING A FALSE STATEMENT
