Columbus IGA Plus is an amazing little grocery store that is clean, well kept, and well lit. It is a nice, beautiful store that is easy to shop, with everything displayed in a good, functional way. While smaller than some stores, it has a vast selection for a small town and really has everything. Shoppers appreciate the lot of gluten-free options, good looking veggies, a big selection of craft and NA beers, and favorite organic probiotic drinks. The deli offers absolutely amazing homemade food, like cabbage soup and pork taco soup, that is delicious. Other food from there is also good. The staff are friendly and helpful, with specific kindness from clerks and the deli lady noted as being totally out of the ordinary. The business runs a special at the end of each month for fill a bag produce, which is called the best deal ever. People are thrilled to shop there and wish the store was in their own town.
Stopped there just after closing time Wednesday hoping to get my kids some chicken after baseball. This angel of a women opened the door despite being closed and happily found us some fried chicken. Just wanted to shout her out…she saved one tired momma and hungry kiddos!

I wish I would have gotten our cashiers name, whoever the girl with the lip rings is needs to be given a raise and promoted to whatever position she wants to be in. She nearly made me cry, her kindness was totally out of the ordinary and unexpected! Thank you so much! ♡
