“Holland Lake Lodge is a jewel that lets you experience life as it was in the era in which it was built. Other than the addition of WiFi, which lets you connect to the outside world, you can totally get away from the stresses of life here.So sharing the shower/bathroom with the other guests in the lodge is a blast from the past--something you only see in 20s and 30s era movies. Don't let that scare you away! The food is fantastic, and the bed was as comfortable as home!Both the presentation and the flavor of our vegetarian meals amazed me. I left the table satiated and anticipating the next meal.There are so many outdoor activities available. I chose to hike up to the waterfall. I enjoyed the water lilies along the lake's edge and the chipmunks coming right up to my feet as I sat on the rocks beside the waterfall. I also got some kayak time in.Just a wonderful place!”
