Regrettably, my experience with this establishment is limited to the reservation process, as unforeseen weather conditions prevented my stay. The 15-day cancellation policy, albeit clear, proved challenging when our plans shifted due to the weather, prompting a call at the 7-day mark to explore cancellation possibilities.Despite acknowledging the policy, the owner, Kay, remained firm in denying our request for cancellation. Understandably, rules are rules, yet our attempt to transfer the reservation to individuals actively seeking a room faced resistance. Kay, acknowledging there was interest from potential guests, refused to allow the change, leaving our reserved space unused over the weekend. This situation resulted in a missed opportunity for positive customer service. While adhering to policies is essential, flexibility in these unique situations could have fostered a win-win scenario. Allowing the transfer could have not only salvaged our plans but also potentially attracted additional patrons to the establishment. The reluctance to accommodate a reservation transfer seems counterintuitive from a business perspective. By permitting the change, it could have generated revenue through potential dining expenditures and ensured customer satisfaction for both parties involved. Unfortunately, this business approach left two groups dissatisfied, and I, personally, out of pocket.Given the circumstances and the missed opportunity for a more customer-centric approach, I would suggest exploring alternative options when seeking accommodation.

Terrible customer service. I understand that the snow is bad everywhere and that makes business hard. But when a representative of a business speaks rude to two of my friends thats unacceptable. We tried to see if we could transfer the room to someone else who was attending a snowmobile ride in town and they wouldn't work with us. So the room will be fully paid for and empty. And not even a partial or one night refund.

We stayed here in May on our way to Alaska and then again in September on our way back to NY. This is by far one of my favorite places ever to visit. The cabins are just beautiful. Kay is an amazing owner who goes out of way to accommodate her guests. Her staff are likewise fabulous. Cooke City is a very cool town at the gateway to the nicest part of Yellowstone IMHO. Thank you Kay for welcoming all of our traveling companions this year - twice ?See you on our way out next year!!Tim, Kim, Hannah, Murphy, Jed, Tom, Betty, Marilyn, Gale, Annie, Christine & Steve!Rooms: We love log cabin!Nearby activities: Yellowstone, Cody, Red Lodge are right at your fingertips.Safety: Never entered our mind.Walkability: The town is right there.Food & drinks: We were happy about all of the businesses in town being open.

Was so happy to see that they had a vacancy and we could stay the night. The room was good, except we found a couple of hairs in the bed. Could've just been lost when the person was making the bed. The sheets were clean, though. All in all, I'd stay here again. Lady at the front desk was very welcoming, also.

Staff - super nice. The rest - super mid. Ok location, close to the park. The walls are paper thin. Heard everything in the next rooms. Noise kept us up til midnight and woke us up at 6am. Awful. You can hear literally everything!!! Showed, toilets, speaking, running, door slamming. For the price they charge, hmm...breakfast super super basic, but convenient. Zero fruits.

This place was a great place to stop and stay. Sarah helped get us checked in and was friendly and helpful with questions about best local places to eat, where to get good coffee, etc. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Antler's Lodge in Cooke City this winter for a snowmobile trip. Plenty of room to park trailers, and the location couldn't be more convenient to the trails. The cabin was super cozy, beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen had the basics, maybe could use a couple of things like S&P, paper towels, and more silverware, but overall we loved this place and will definitely be back!!

We ate breakfast here several mornings and it was decent. Dinner one night was a little disappointing with an under cooked hamburger.
