My husband planned this trip to share with me his love of the area for fly fishing for the last 25+yrs. He searched for a place that would instill love for the Missouri and I feel he struck GOLD with this ranch! The room, amenities, ALL food and beverages, along with the wonderfully friendly and inviting staff made this place extra special! Jake and Cammie are so knowledgeable and helpful- and are so wise beyond their years! June makes wicked good Old Fashions and Chef Jodi’s dinners and desserts - beyond satisfying along with kindness of our hostess/server Cassie with such a great smile! Then the morning crew - equally fantastic! Trish and Megan and “Sir Chef” served up perfect breakfasts and packaged our lunch to go for later so nicely! Rooms are so well appointed- comfortable and spacious and ability to stay organized! So thankful to experience this slice of heaven on The Missouri- well done hiring all the right people!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Missouri River Ranch. I don't even know where to start the compliments. The room was very spacious with a large bathroom, a super comfortable bed, a balcony that allows you to enjoy an incredible view of the mountains while observing the animals that live near the garden (ospreys, deers, pelicans, hares, etc...).Around the bar, preparations are made for the next day's fishing before dinner, and Jake patiently and enthusiastically takes the time to explain to novices the basics of fly fishing in the garden. Absolutely essential for those like me who have never tried the experience. The restaurant's meals are worthy of the best reviews, the variety, the beautiful presentation of the dishes, the quality of the ingredients and the talent of the chef promise a gastronomic experience comparable to the best restaurants. At dessert time, the smiling Camille comes to take orders for the next day's breakfast with a varied menu. After a restful night, the welcome at breakfast is very warm, and it is facing the sunrise that we taste what we have chosen the day before. Fruits, cereals, yogurts, pancakes, guacamole toast, the choice is perfect. Before leaving for the day of fishing, Jake and Camille present to everyone the guide who accompanies them for the day. It's time to choose the picnic that we will have on the boat. Again, the choice is wide and the sandwiches and salads are absolutely excellent. Without forgetting the cookies from the ranch, soft to perfection. Of course, this portion of Missouri offers excellent fishing opportunities, thanks also to the very professional guides chosen by the ranch. At the end of each day, a good coffee or a cold drink is welcome, always served with a smile from the staff who do an exceptional job. It's time to share with others the successes of the day, to read a good book in the park or to go for a nap before ending the day.The place is very quiet, in the heart of magnificent landscapes, and offers lovely walking routes. Craig is not far to go do some shopping in the fishing and souvenir shops. There are also picnic tables at the water's edge.In conclusion, the lodge is absolutely fantastic, the attention of Camille, Jake and the rest of the staff make each stay an unforgettable experience. Can't wait to come back!

Way above my expectations. Great laid back atmosphere with awesome fishing and incredibly friendly staff. Huge shout out to chef Pat who cooked up some incredible food. Everything he made is good enough to sit in the best fine dining / Michelin restaurants and fits the ranch atmosphere perfectly. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

food was not good, I do not eat meat and they could no deal with it. Overheard staff complaining about me. Was served same two meals in a row, frozen tuna. Was given peanut peanut butter sandwich for lunch. On the third night , I got a can of black beens on the side. To top it off, after 4 nights, They served me FRENCH OINION SOUP< I went to the check and asked if this was made with BEEF. OH I SORRY>

Had an awesome long weekend at MRR, it’s a great location and feels remote while being close to Craig and great fishing. The staff was extremely friendly making you feel right at home, and meals and drinks were A+ (Jake makes a great smoked old fashioned). The fishing was unreal, we spent a day with Henry on the river and he put us right on top of fish after fish, both rainbows and browns. Will definitely be going back, hopefully early next season!

Missouri River Ranch is a beautiful boutique hotel. The rooms are spacious and modern. MRR has one of the best views I've ever seen. The sunrises, sunsets, and rainbows had me in awe during my stay! All the staff members were kind and welcoming. General Manager Jake has one of the brightest smiles I have ever seen. He greeted me right when my car pulled up at the ranch. Chef Pat cooks the best New York steak I have ever had. Sous Chef Jodi is funny and personable. She truly cared about what I wanted for lunch when I went fly fishing. I loved all of her desserts as well. June is an awesome bartender! Trish was so kind when she served me breakfast. I really enjoyed talking to her! Missouri River Ranch sets the standard for fly fishing lodges around the world. They exceeded my expectations! Thank you so much for the amazing stay! I would recommend the hotel to any fly fishing enthusiasts!

I had one of my best vacations at Missouri River Ranch. Every single staff member was extremely friendly and attentive. They are not overbearing and give you the tranquility that you may desire or you can have very informative conversations with the extremely helpful and friendly manager, Jake. He happens not only to run the ranch extremely well but is very knowledgeable about fly fishing and helped pair us up with an excellent guide. He knows the river so well and will advise his guests appropriately based on their individual experience. The food is absolutely delicious and plentiful. It’s so nice to eat a hearty breakfast in the lodge before a long day of fishing. The packed lunches were such a great treat during a busy day on the drift boat and when we hiked the other days. As great as the days were we couldn’t wait to return to the MRR for the happy hours and delicious dinners. The cocktails and wines served were so good.It is very evident that the staff enjoy working together which resulted in 5 Star hospitality.I can’t wait to return next year.

Received a quote for 2 fishermen 5 nights 4 days fishing with guides for $22,000 which is exorbitantly high. They admitted they made numerous errors and we received a revised quote was $12,600 which is still extremely high. They exhibited very unprofessional quotes and their web site indicates misleading prices 1/2 lower of what they quote. This fly fish lodge is a scam and I do not recommend staying there. Very disappointed.
