Ennis pharmacy and soda shop is a great place to get a bite to eat. The normal menu has a lot to choose and great specials like chicken pot pie. Cuisine is seasoned and served hot by a friendly staff in a home-like ambiance. Large portions of sandwich with turkey, avocado, cucumbers, lettuce and tomatoes on rye or a basic patty melt are always great and delicious. Service is always great, friendly and impeccable. The woman behind the main counter makes a kickass latte. Breakfast and lunch are spot on, fresh and served hot. This is a must do in Ennis.
My husband is in cancer treatment, and the owner, Stacy, who is also the pharmacist, went out of her way to process a prescription on a Saturday afternoon. Her kindness and helpfulness were much appreciated. In a world where so much is automated, this experience emphasized why it’s so important to support small businesses.
