Ksanka Inn is a budget-friendly motel located near the Canadian border, making it a convenient choice for travelers exploring the area. While the exterior of the property shows signs of wear, with peeling paint and burned-out light bulbs, the rooms are generally clean and comfortable. Guests appreciate the surprisingly cozy beds, although some have noted the sticky carpets could use a good cleaning. The staff, particularly the local housekeepers, are friendly and accommodating, with some guests highlighting their willingness to stay late for check-ins. However, there are some drawbacks. The reservation process can be problematic, with reported discrepancies in pricing and a lack of confirmation emails. Additionally, the motel lacks certain amenities, such as a hair dryer, coffee maker, and laundry facilities. Ice is not readily available, as guests must retrieve it from a store soda fountain. Pet-friendly accommodations are offered, but the lack of proper facilities for pets is noted as an area for improvement. Despite its outdated appearance and mixed reviews, some guests find the inn an acceptable place to stay, especially for those on a budget or looking for a base to explore nearby lakes and activities.
I was having trouble with my lodging service, the Hotel staff was incredibly patient, and understanding. Probably the best customer service I have Seen at any Hotel.
