I arrived to check in late from far with my service animal and was aggressed by the owner who clearly had no care for federal ADA policies and accommodations regarding service animals that have been so hard fought and won. He kept insisting that my service animal was a pet and that anyone can buy a service dog vest on Amazon. He went on and on, reiterating that guides and outfitters try to pull this on him all the time. This experience was absolutely terrible, unwelcome, honestly kind of scary, and aggressive. This place doesn’t comply with ADA rules and regulations. Be ware.

Im really lost at what to say. Made a reservation for Oct 11 of this month. Received my email confirmation, which had the incorrect date of my stay. Emailed the Inn. No response. Decided to cancel the reservation altogether, because Ive had several spine surgeries and after reading the other reviews about the coil spring beds, I was too hesitant to stay. Called the Inn multiple times to cancel. No response. No one has yet to return my call after two voicemails. YET…my credit card has been charged, in full, for one nights stay!!!! Im so confused! We havent even stayed yet and already, my credit card has been charged for the reservation!!Dont stay here. As a Gold Star Wife (military widow), im thankful another hotel will be taking care of my family and I.

Beautiful, historic hotel. Toured the guest rooms that have comfortable, nostalgic decor. Employees are so nice and welcoming.

Quintessential Montana. Sitting in the bar, by the fireplace or on the front porch, you can't help but imagine what kinds of decisions made history here. Owners are renovating room by room. Mattress was soft and comfy. I loved my stay and will be back!

The bar has local craft beer on tap. We had buffet supper in the dining room. You get one plate each for salads, mains and dessert for $25. Everything was tasty and nicely done. Lasagna, steak, artichoke hearts, grilled bussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, chicken-fried pork, blueberry cobbler. The rooms are rustic but with very new bedding, rugs, lovely decor in black and gold. You can see the building has shifted a lot and nothing upstairs is very level. We had a two room suite which had four single beds with a shared bathroom. It was just over 200 a night for the two bedrooms. Rustic: no TV, coffee maker. It's old fashioned that way. Peaceful.

I grew up here and I’ve always loved going to this hotel. I finally stayed for the first time in July. It’s on the national register of historic places so I believe there are limits to what they can update and change. With that said, the room I was in could definitely use some new blinds and curtains. Way too much light was coming in the morning. Also the AC remote didn’t work. Other than that it was pretty much what I expected for such a historic hotel and a rate of $75 a night.

Terrible. Rustic rooms very shabby. We were looking forward to a good dinner, then were told the dining room was reserved for an event. We should have been told this when we made reservations a week earlier. We had a choice of pizza or chicken at the bar. Definitely disappointed. However, the bartender was very nice.

What could be a nice hotel is currently a total dump. Bartender worked also reception and it took half an hour to check in. Was more concerned bartending than attending to newly arrived guests. It took 3 attempts to get 2 clean rooms. Even when room was relatively clean with fresh towels in a basket in the room, the bathroom had used towels, toilet bowls left unflushed and full trash cans (in both rooms which were supposedly ready). Wash basin was full of rust stains. At a 100 bucks a night a rip off considering the condition of the rooms.

Called to reserve a room after a storm took our tent down. The receptionist said there were 2 rooms available and that she would hold one. Got there less than an hour later to hear that both had been booked. Wouldn't trust this place with reservations after this.

New ownership, new season for this historic hotel. They do dinner specials and always a good story to be told by staff. Recommend anyone passing through to stay or grab a bite here. Summer 2022 be sure to catch the Ft Peck theatre.

Very clean rooms. And an amazing breakfast buffet! New owners are doing a good job and are very accommodating!! There were very nice updates to our room. And the bed was very comfortable.
