BASE Community Center

Hours: BASE Community Center is a premier destination for fitness and fun in Big Sky, offering a fully-equipped gym, cutting-edge rock climbing walls, and versatile sports programs. The facility is miraculous for a ski resort town, resembling a high-end private gym. It features a well-stocked gym with the latest equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, row machines, stair steppers, squat racks, free weights, and exercise machines. There is a huge gymnasium for basketball, pickleball, indoor soccer, and many other sports programs. The impressive indoor rock-climbing wall has diverse routes, an autobelay system, and a bouldering area. An enclosed room hosts scheduled classes like yoga, Pilates, spin, and Zumba. The center also includes an art studio, a children’s play area, foosball and ping pong tables, and clean, well-maintained locker rooms and restrooms. There is a free public ice-skating rink. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and an invaluable source of information. Day passes and membership plans, like the three-month family pass, are extremely reasonable.
