Cleanliness is consistently highlighted as a strength, with the accommodations described as "squeaky clean." While the WiFi was reported as unreliable at times, the rooms are generally quiet and peaceful. The 406 Lodge's location is very convenient, just outside the entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Guests can easily walk to nearby shops and restaurants in the small town of Gardiner. Though the parking lot is a bit tight, the overall walkability and proximity to the park are major draws. While some guests felt the pricing was a bit high, the majority agreed that the 406 Lodge provides excellent value and a wonderful home base for exploring Yellowstone.
