Service is friendly but the food is not good. The rice in the Tuscan chicken soup was undercooked even if the flavor was decent. The burrito was extremely bland. The service is friendly but the food we got is definitely not worth coming back for.

Perfect spot for a sit down with coffee or food to go. We went here every morning for to-go breakfast before adventuring in Yellowstone/surrounding area.Vegetarian options: Meat is added as an option to many dishes, so starts a vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Some GF options are available

Very friendly service and great food and coffee. It's small inside, but very cozy and comfortable. We were here in the winter, but it has a small outdoor space that would be nice in warmer weather.

We were visiting the area and were so happy to discover Tumbleweed. Delicious breakfast and lunch options-- my husband can attest to how good that breakfast burrito actually is-- everything tastes homemade and made to order, in a warm and welcoming space. Highly recommend.

This place is adorable and the food is made to order. It was very busy so there was a wait because there was only one employee there working but she was busting her butt and doing a great job. Food coffee and atmosphere was

Charming cafe with classic and delicious breakfast sandwiches. Good coffee ✨ The owner was really friendly and welcoming. They also sell locally-made jewelry, cards and other souvenirs. Recommend!

There aren't a lot of places to go for coffee/breakfast in Gardiner. On our recent trip to Yellowstone, we visited Tumbleweed a number of times each morning before going into the park. Coffee and breakfast sandwich are good! There can be a bit of a wait as they make food fresh. So, be a bit patient.

We had breakfast and I worked on a project on my computer for a couple hours at the Tumbleweed Bookstore & Cafe on our trip to Gardiner and Mammoth Hot Springs. The lady behind the counter greeted us as soon as we entered, even though she was busy with another customer's order; she was very polite and professional the entire time.We were not rushed, so the wait did not bother us at all, though we were amused by the sign that reinforced that they are not able to rush orders for raft trips, so patrons need to manage their time effectively and not expect fast food wait times! My breakfast burrito was the best I have ever tasted, and I have had versions of breakfast burritos all over. The contents were layered inside the tortilla in a unique way; the egg, cheese, sausage, and black beans were all together in the middle like sandwich contents, but then were wrapped in the shell. It was super easy to use a knife and fork to eat, which I chose over eating it with my hands because I was using my laptop and didn't want my fingers to have food on them.My mother had a breakfast sandwich, and it was also very well made. My capuccino was the perfect blend of a medium roast espresso and half the sweetness of hazelnut and red raspberry. The atmosphere was quaint and cozy, and I loved seeing the local artwork and jewelry for sale. We will definitely be back when in the area!

We were recommended to come here by Wonderbar as it was the end of the tourist season so not a lot of places for breakfast.Came here Sunday morning for breakfast.1 woman show! Food takes 15-20 mins but it is fresh and yummy. We ordered a breakfast bagel and asked her to make it how she likes it - with cream cheese, tons of veggies and bacon. It was really great! We also ordered drinks and the hot cereal along with some pastries for the road. Solid, nourishing breakfast.A pleasant surprise! Probably the best place for breakfast in this town!

Honestly, I didn't take any pictures of this place or the food, which is rare for me. The breakfast burrito was very good and stuffed full of eggs, cheese, black beans, salsa, sausage, sour cream & avocado, but I had to wait almost an hour to get it. The lady behind the counter was alone & taking all the orders, then making them. I felt really bad for her. I'm giving three stars not just for that, but for the environment. The name sounded so interesting & cool, but in reality, everything looked sad and tired. Also, every table was dirty...one had a fly on it eating old ketchup. So disappointing...lots of potential here, but this place desperately needs a thorough cleaning & makeover.
