I dealt with Carol (from Fort Worth, Texas also said she’s an assistant location manager) was very unhelpful. Didn’t care if I was stranded or not. I prepaid for the car $94 total for one day use, which is no issue. Once I got there she told me I need at least $500 on my debit card (which I did) after that she told me I had to prepay for their gas & give her a credit card for a “soft credit check”. I have never owned a credit card. She was literally the most unhelpful human being I’ve ever met. Thankfully I had a local friend to help assist after making multiple phone calls. Would never recommend them and very much so hope to not see her working customer service ever again.

Don’t rent from hertz. I prepaid for my rental. When I arrived to pick up the car they asked for a credit card. When I asked why, they stated it will be used for the final bill. What they didn’t tell me, they put a 600$ deposit on my debit card. First time I’ve had this done before. Be careful of the hidden charges. Honesty when you rent the car would be greatly appreciated. Not when my bank called about a out of state charge.

Try to avoid this rental car agency in Great Falls. The agents are trained to really push the pre-paid fuel option which never pays off unless you can bring the car back completely empty. I heard them try to sell it to every person in line like they were getting a great deal because gas in town was soo expensive. Also they wouldn't spend the time to try to track down an item I left in the vehicle just a response of "We'll reach out if we find it". Lastly they charged me $25 for fuel even though I'm confident I filled it up before bringing it back. On the plus side the vehicle was in good shape and clean. Shady business.

I am sorry I forget the lady's name, but she was a night manager and she was AMAZING! I got locked out of my car at 10pm with no other way home (a 2 hour drive), and she was able to set me up with a good rental and the car was very nice, so nice I think I want to buy one! Thank you Avis for your customer care and kindness.

To summarize they do not pick up the phone unless you call other rental car companies in the same airport to have them send an Employee over there to tell them to pick up. The car was great and the in person service was very good. However it is absolutely ridiculous that I had to on one occasion (September 16th) drive all the way to the airport to get an extension, due to them not picking up the phone. And another time (September 30th) I had to call the Budget rental in the same building as them to get them to pick up their phone to make sure there were people even at their desk. I thought maybe their phone line wasn’t active and this was a misunderstanding with google, but that isn’t the case, after the employee from Budget rental went over there they picked up immediately and had my receipt sent to me in minutes.

Have had my reservations moved twice in 6 months to multiple days away from original reservation. This put me in a tough spot with work, repair shop and overall work/life schedule. I asked for an explanation as I am very understanding, but was only offered were very busy and can't guarantee vehicles right now... Isn't this the point of a reservation?Had great experiences with all other Hertz rental places. Just this site loves to cancel, move or give your reserved vehicle away. Very frustrating...

Terrible experience. They over charged me by $1,100 for a 6 day rental. Poor customer service. They literally don’t even answer the phone and I’ve been calling for 2 days to try and get this mistake corrected.

Ended up getting in at 12:30am due to multiple delays, and thought for sure the rental desk would be closed. To my surprise, the guy was still there and was super helpful. I even ended up getting an awesome car upgrade! I will definitely be using again next time I’m in town.

I would of given 5 stars, but applied a fuel charge and was unable to get a hold of anyone. I filled up the tank at the gas station next to the airport.When picking up the car the process was good.
