I am sorry I forget the lady's name, but she was a night manager and she was AMAZING! I got locked out of my car at 10pm with no other way home (a 2 hour drive), and she was able to set me up with a good rental and the car was very nice, so nice I think I want to buy one! Thank you Avis for your customer care and kindness.

To summarize they do not pick up the phone unless you call other rental car companies in the same airport to have them send an Employee over there to tell them to pick up. The car was great and the in person service was very good. However it is absolutely ridiculous that I had to on one occasion (September 16th) drive all the way to the airport to get an extension, due to them not picking up the phone. And another time (September 30th) I had to call the Budget rental in the same building as them to get them to pick up their phone to make sure there were people even at their desk. I thought maybe their phone line wasn’t active and this was a misunderstanding with google, but that isn’t the case, after the employee from Budget rental went over there they picked up immediately and had my receipt sent to me in minutes.

Have had my reservations moved twice in 6 months to multiple days away from original reservation. This put me in a tough spot with work, repair shop and overall work/life schedule. I asked for an explanation as I am very understanding, but was only offered were very busy and can't guarantee vehicles right now... Isn't this the point of a reservation?Had great experiences with all other Hertz rental places. Just this site loves to cancel, move or give your reserved vehicle away. Very frustrating...

Awful customer service. They charged multiple random fees upon return. I have been trying to get a hold of a manager for weeks. They rarely answer the phone, and won’t even call back. 0/5

Terrible experience. They over charged me by $1,100 for a 6 day rental. Poor customer service. They literally don’t even answer the phone and I’ve been calling for 2 days to try and get this mistake corrected.

Ended up getting in at 12:30am due to multiple delays, and thought for sure the rental desk would be closed. To my surprise, the guy was still there and was super helpful. I even ended up getting an awesome car upgrade! I will definitely be using again next time I’m in town.

I would of given 5 stars, but applied a fuel charge and was unable to get a hold of anyone. I filled up the tank at the gas station next to the airport.When picking up the car the process was good.

Carol was amazing to us, but my husband & I were double charged for our rental by accounting department. They owe us over $1,900 and we've been very nicely trying all we can to get Hertz to pay it back to us, but Jared in management is seriously slacking in any desire to do what's right & is now outright ignoring us. Its been almost 2 weeks since we dropped off our rental & this is theft & beyond ridiculous. We definitely WILL NOT be using Hertz ever again!!

I made a car reservation for 1 week for $1200. I was told there would be a $30 deposit added to my credit card. That deposit was really $500. No one at the customer service # answers the phone. It's an answering machine. You call the location and leave a message, someone calls you back, giggles and says "no you're mistaken". After 3 days I bring back the car. While trying to charge me for 4 days, the trainee, on the phone with his manager charged me for 4 weeks. I got charged $3400. My credit card maxed out, and I will be charged by the bank for going over my limit by alot of money. The trainee apologizes, tells me it's going to take 24 hours for my refund. It's Saturday night so it will normally take 48 hrs to get a refund, except Monday is a federal holiday. It will take 3 days to get my $3400 refunded. I explained this to the trainee I was give. A list of numbers, the 24 hr emergency number, rental exchange number, worldwide reservations #, and the insurance number and the billing number only open Monday thru Friday.I'm told a manager will call me in the morning.No one called me on Sunday morning. I left several messages and no one returned my called. The only way to speak to someone at Hertz is thru Facebook, they reached out several times to tell me they sent a message to the manager but non one called.On Monday morning I submitted my letter to the BBB, Monday after I get a message from hertz asking me to call back but no one appears to be available to answer the phone.After several hours of trying to call back and getting recorded messages about the number being disconnected I am finally able to get through to speak to a lady. She pretends she doesn't know what I am talking about and suggests that my issue has been forgotten about by management and the call I received this earlier was a second thought. Magically after the supervisor left I was magically able to get through. The lady tells me shes been getting calls and messages all day. Weird. As I try to speak to her she continues to interrupt and talk over me and becomes argumentative. I try to explain my concerns, and try to ask her to leave a message she keeps talking louder she hangs up. At this point I am being ignored.After reading other reviews this is appears to be normal for this location and no one seems to care.

I found the check in very easy. This is a very small airport. The lady at the front counter is a doll and super nice. She had everything prepared for me when I arrived and I picked up my car in less than 5 minutes. The cars are directly outside the counter. I came in early morning to check out. There is no one working there early morning but there is a key drop box. They emailed my receipt to me as soon as they opened and everything was correct. I'm going with this particular Hertz every time I come in town to visit. One of the easiest and best Hertz I've rented from.

i'd give it a zero if i could. Tried to pay with a card that the company apparently doesn't accept, even though i had paid with that exact card, AT HERTZ in a different location one week before. chatted with an online agent who was not helpful at all, and directed me to speak with the manager on the ground at the airport. he wasn't in, and the worker there had no sympathy at all when she explained my situation to him, and he said no. So i was stranded at the airport, 7 hours from my destination, waiting over 5 hours to catch an overnight bus just to get home, missing work in the process. they were not help AT ALL. i have used hertz many times before and this is the first time i got screwed. and because they were bottom-line unhelpful, and unsympathetic i will never use them again. if they're gonna strand their customers god knows where, at any location for something as simple as "the wrong card" they've lost my business and i will actively warn others against using them as well.

Perfect!Rented my AWD Car without any problems here and even short termed. My car was clean and worked perfect. I had a real relaxed week with my sons and this car.My flight back was very early and so I used the return box and that worked also perfect!The rental process was easy and the staff was very helpful und patient. I would rent here all time again....

Shout out to Carol for her superior service! We had rented a car from the Missoula location but our vehicle was totaled after a deer jumped in front of our car. We were several hours away from Missoula, unable to return the totaled car, and feeling stranded in a very stressful situation. Luckily the staff in Missoula was able to connect with Carol in the Great Falls location. She secured a new vehicle for us and had paperwork ready when we arrived. Carol was extremely kind and patient, and made sure that we were all set to carry on with our vacation, despite the accident. Feeling grateful for this excellent service!
