We stayed here in our travel trailer. Hook ups were great. Had no trouble getting level. The grounds are clean and set on a beautiful creek. Close to historic Philipsburg and beautiful lakes. The owners were very nice. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Male owner is the rudest person I’ve come across in 6 days of travel across Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming & Montana. Worst I I’ve been treated by someone in hospitality, possibly ever. Pass on by this place whether the open sign is on or not, plenty of other great places nearby where folks are much friendlier. When my husband and I saw an open sign, while driving down a long stretch of road on our motorcycle in 100+ degree temps, we were so happy! We walked into the lobby and when the owner came in, he didn’t greet us with a smile or hello, walked right past me in fact. I asked him, with a smile on my face, “Hi, can we buy a couple of cold drinks from you?”…weirdest most judgmental reply from him, “Not if you’re going to drink it while you drive down the road.” I’m not sure what led him to the conclusion that we were criminals, stunned I told him we’ve never done that in our entire riding lives, and my husband said “can’t we drink these on the premises?” The owner shrugged and said sure, but he clearly didn’t want us on his property. Once he decided he was willing to sell us two cans of white claw, he asked for ID (reasonable) but needed both, while my husband has his mine was out in the bike. Not feeling like traipsing back and forth in hundred degree weather and feeling totally judged and not welcome, we decided the two claws weren’t worth it. We are in our 40’s, travel often all over the world and country, and haven’t felt as judged by anyone (for no reason) as we did by this owner. Maybe it’s because we were on a bike, which to some must mean we’re degenerate criminals. What a shame.

I stayed here while I was gem mining at Gem Mountain in Philipsburg. We rented the Hunter cabin and had the best time. I am not a nature person and I don’t camp so I was nervous going into it. The cabin was clean and bug free with super comfortable beds. The bathrooms were spotless and the food at the restaurant was fantastic. The property was fantastic and everyone staying there (camping, RVs, cabins) was nice and seemed to enjoy their stay. I will absolutely stay here again and I have recommended this to many friends.Rooms: The cabin was clean and had comfortable beds.Nearby activities: This property is near Philipsburg which has amazing gem mining and fly fishing.Food & drinks: The restaurant has really great breakfast and dinner.

It's a great place, but the grounds could use some work. I get it if they want to keep the area natural, but weed eat all the weed patches in and immediately bordering the camp and lodge area. I do have to add that it might normally be kept up, but they did have a flood issue over the winter and were in the process of getting that all fixed. Thanks to the local contractors for jumping in and assisting, or it would have been a long waiting game on hired contractors. The menue is minimal but perfect!Waffles are great!!!

Seemed like a nice place, but the tent site we paid for was very disappointing. We have just finished a 5K mile road trip, and tent camped 14 nights. The site we paid for here was easily the worst. Another reviewer mentioned tent sites being near the creek, but ours def was not. It was simply a spot of lumpy grass right next to the playground and gravel road, opposite a row of RV’s. Without the location noted for us on the map we never would’ve guessed it was a tent site at all…and perhaps it really isn’t.Regardless, if it was all that was left, we should’ve been charged accordingly. Instead we paid more than anywhere else on our trip, in part bc we were also charged a $5 fee for having a dog, something I’ve never heard of at a campground. If I had it to do again I would’ve insisted we be allowed to camp in the flat, and more private, grass near the teepees/cabin/covered wagon (none of which were occupied), or be given our money back and go elsewhere.Side note: their sign about pets being on leash also has an unfortunate typo, stating they “must be kept of leash…” (on? off? ?). Showers were very nice though. ??♂️

We enjoyed our one night stay here! It's hard to find accomodations for a family of 7, and we ended up here just based on availability. We're glad we did! The cabin we stayed in was very clean, and the bathrooms are very well maintained. The resort has 3 full bathrooms (for each gender, so 6 total) and an outhouse that are within an easy distance to the cabins/RV/tent areas. Be sure to bring your own toiletries for the shower. We loved hearing the sound of the creek and playing pool, foosball, and other games at night as a family. If we're out this way again, we would definitely stay here.

Beautiful place to camp. They serve elk, bison, and Angus burgers for dinner. The hosts are very nice people and the teepee and cabins looked very comfortable. Tent spots are right next to the creek and looked very nice. 30 and 50 Amp water and tank dumps at half the sites others are just electric and water. Close proximity to flint creek access and about 8 miles to Phillipsburg.

We stayed here for 1 night when we were at the Gem Mountain Sapphire Mine. We greatly enjoyed our stay. Our cabin was beautifully located and very comfortable. We stayed in The Rancher cabin. The bed and included futon was comfortable. Even though it was a little farther from the parking area/bathrooms, this was not a problem. The lodge provided wagons to bring things from our car to the cabin. Although we had no cell phone service (AT&T), the Wi-Fi was fast and easy to logon to and use. Lastly we ate dinner and breakfast at their restaurant and the food was SOOO good, and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you!

We arrived late to our cabin and had informed them. They had our paperwork and keys waiting for us to get into our cabin. We stayed in The Loft cabin and it felt like home. We were greeted with a clean, cozy cabin that had 3 queen size beds, table with 4 chairs and a loveseat. There was plenty of room for the children and dogs to play. There was a great view of the mountain side when you went to bed and woke up hearing the creek in the background and fresh pine smell everywhere. It felt like heaven. The bathroom and shower house was clean and spacious. We had breakfast and dinner at the lodge and left feeling very satisfied. This is a great location to go and decompress from life. We never wanted to leave. We will definitely be making plans to stay there again and just plan a trip around the campgroud. Holly and Nick Randall June 2023
