The Daly Mansion, or Riverside, was the summer home of Copper King Marcus Daly, his wife Margaret and their 4 children for 70 years. It survived 40 years of neglect before a Daly Mansion Trust was formed to save and restore the Mansion to its former glory. The grounds of the Mansion are part of your step back in time, with sweeping ash trees, maples and oaks are part of the grounds Daly planted himself. The 25 bedrooms contain many of the original Daly pieces and as you wander through, either by self-guided tours or with knowledgeable volunteers, you learn more about the Daly family, their history and impact on our Nation's history. Thank Mrs. Daly for sharing her home with you the day you are there, and don't think twice about making a donation to make sure your experience at the Daly Mansion is available to future generations.

There is not enough words that could explain the beauty of the Daly Mansion, the 1st time I went to the Daly I wasn't able to tour due to it being mother's day, today July 4th, I took the last tour of the day which is self guided, I started from the 3rd floor and worked my way down and WOW, you can tell that the restoration was done with so much love.... From the 3rd floor to the 1st... I cried when I walked into the kitchen I was so excited lolAnd I can tell you the Daly family still live at Mansion, the Atrium room was filled with the energy of the family... The Daly mansion is such a special place, created with loveFilled with loveRestored with loveCared for with loveThank you Mrs Daly for allowing us into your home and your life ❤️

Wow what a spectacular venue for a wedding. I've been there and I have been through the mansion before. But this was a new experience with how well the wedding was. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for the daily mansion and it's staff.

So much rich history and such an interesting story. This mansion is featured in the show 1923 (S1,E4 Yellowstone prequel) - which makes it even more fun to visit. My husband and I visited and were absolutely were enthralled by the beauty and craftsman that make up the inside of this home. They offer self guided tours for $15 with a pamphlet that takes you through the vast majority of the house, telling you about each room you visit. We will definitely be coming back in the summer to see it in full bloom.

We found this place by accident, and BOY it was a great place to find!! The mansion had a lot of history and our tour guide was a great story teller and was able to answer our questions very well, he even had met one of the granddaughters of the mansion himself! We learned a lot about the history of Marcus daly and the way he founded quite a bit of montana. It was a great stop and was only 15$ a person which was very reasonable for the whole tour. Not only that, but this is a site that relies on tours to help keep it in shape and to help restore its full beauty. I hope to vist another time and see it even more beautiful than it was this time.
