Terrible service. The Hamilton office says they are closed for lunch 11am-12pm every day. I had my rental schedule for pick up at noon. The office was closed when I arrived 12:20 and there was a note on the door with a phone number to call. I called and had to leave a message. I called again and finally talked with Joel. He said he was home having lunch and I asked him when he would be back. He told me “when I finish my sandwich “. He then said it would be 15-20 minutes. The SUV Toyota he had for me was in bad shape. It was filthy dirty. The windshield was covered with dead bugs, the door jams were covered with dirt and the interior was a mess. I asked him why it was so dirty and he said he didn’t have time to get it cleaned. He could have at least run it through a car wash. I had to spend my time doing his job.On the day I was supposed to return the SUV, knowing Joel’s lack of service, I called his phone and got no answer and had to leave a message asking if he would be the the office at my designated return time. At the office I asked him if he ever returned phone calls. He told me he was busy.I can’t see why Joel has a job. This was very bad customer service for a major company like Enterprise.

My car was covered in dog hair and dust when I picked it up. It smelled terrible and it had clearly not been cleaned.

Not sure where my review went from yesterday, but my service at Hamilton's Enterprise has been negative the last three times. I've used them maybe 6 times between personal and business use. The normal thing is a switcharoo on the vehicle. This last time was that I got switched to a 4runner from a minivan (i needed the space for my family) and it came with bald front tires, nearly to the threads. The nice kid running the place was even measuring tread depth and just passed the front tires like they had tread - probably illegal to rent below tread bar but no matter, off you go and good luck was the response. Recommended driving it to IDF airport to exchange for new car as there was no way they could get a minivan from Missoula. I get to IDF after going over a snowy mountain pass with bald front tires (thankfully) and these guys were not very aware of their jobs to say the least. They washed up a Nissan Armada (which was a good vehicle for our family) and gave us the key to go to the parking lot and get it. No inspection of the new vehicle or the exchanged one. License plate paint was bubbling and falling off on one letter, then by the first gas stop a few hundred miles later most of the paint had peeled off. Must have hit it with high pressure solvent or something during their wash. Anyway, we tried without success to get them to email us a temporary paper plate to tape in the window so police don't jump all over us, they weren't interested in helping us saying to wait for Monday maybe. We get the vehicle back the next week and damage we saw on the bumper was being charged to us. We thankfully got them to cancel that claim (hence the second star). These guys are just not reliable no matter what is promised and that's bad because if you have passengers and cargo and they promise a certain size vehicle, you simply won't get it. The time before was a Chevy Traverse which had far less room than a minivan that we were promised.

Yet ANOTHER bad experience with the Hamilton Montana location. I am at a loss as to why the manager is still employed anywhere much less at this location. I was supposed to have a vehicle delivered to my house at 8am last monday morning. After waiting 45 minutes i drove to the business and then he had absolutely NO explanation or care as to why it wasn't delivered. What a joke. This was my second bad experience at this location. There will NOT be a third.

Call these guys with my insurance company and they were prompt and fast got me a truck I'm so happy waiting for my truck to get fixed I rate these guys are number 10 way to go guys and thank you

Enterprises "We'll pick you up" is not true!! Due to covid the hamilton office is refusing to pickup or deliver cars to customers. If you are not comfortable performing your job duties maybe you shouldn't be open.

The Enterprise Rental office in Hamilton MT has always been very responsive to my needs for a car on very short notice. They always make it quick and easy when I pickup and return, and the vehicles are always clean and in good shape.

It is what it is. They're very nice to you when it's slow and no cars are being rented but when its busy They're absolutely rude there's no other way to put it.

Terrible service. Will not rent from Enterprise again. I made a reservation to rent a vehicle for the day to take my family up to a sapphire mine. Received. Confirmation that we were good to go only to get a call the morning I was supposed to pick up the car that they didn’t have any. Joel didn’t even offer to try to get a car down from Missoula or anything for me. I wouldn’t trust that they have a car even if you do get a confirmation email. Never again Enterprise.After sending an email per their response, I was told, “ this Happens from time to time, we will work on improving”. That’s all you got Enterprise?

I wish there were more stars! This place was awesome! Joel made sure that the car that I got was safe for the roads I would be on and was very helpful! Unfortunately, I hit ice and went through a fence with the car that I rented. When I called Joel he said, "Are you and your son ok"? His first concern was us not his rental car. When we got back to the office he had another vehicle lined up and was great about the whole thing.
