I placed an order in April for appliances for my new home with Barrie, former owner. She has retired, and the new manager, Dameon, is HORRIBLE. I couldn't hear him & my cell phone volume was all the way up - advised him a second time I could barely hear him. He ignored me & continued talking over me in the same quiet voice. I called for an update on my order, as I was unable to order a built-in microwave with trim kit in April (not available for order), & I had to order a refrigerator that was $1000 more than the model I wanted, which was also not available for order. Barrie was periodically checking to see if Kitchenaid was updating their order availability on certain models. Dameon said I would need to come in. I told him I had the order number, but he was insistent that I needed to come in. I know the drill - each customer takes from 30 - 90 minutes, & if you have three customers ahead of you, an afternoon is wasted, waiting. I pushed back, and he said, "I don't like your attitude." My response was that comment would garner a report to the Better Business Bureau. He HUNG UP ON ME!! Absolutely the most obnoxious individual ever - and he's the manager? I predict now that Sears Corporate owns the store, Dameon will lose his job or the store will close. My builder is his biggest customer, and he will no longer do business with them. Stay away from Sears Hometown in Hamilton!

Found the perfect washer and dryer in less than 10 minutes at this store! It was nice not to have to drive to Missoula! The manager Dameon was very professional and super helpful! I’m a happy customer with a beautiful new washer dryer set!❤️

Poor customer service! After waiting 9 months for upright freezer (have paperwork showing delivery October 28, 2020). Hamilton Sears would not offer any free delivery to our house. Only told, not their fault! But, we bought the unit from Sears, not the Manufacturer. Tried to pick up, unit too tall for horse trailer, sales associate said to lay unit on side! Again asked for delivery. Out weeks and would cost us $65. Poor customer service! Still do not have freezer! Not our fault...will never shop Hamilton Sears again!

I was in town visiting my 84 year old mother, her dishwasher went out. My time here was limited and I wanted to get her situated with a new one before I left. Went into the store and was told the soonest they could get me one was...10 days to 3 months out. I asked if I could purchase one of the 20+ floor models as it is very difficult for her to stand at a sink doing dishes..I was told, "I'm not allowed to sell any of those"...So much for customer service.

Drove into town after being told a Microwave was designed the way I wanted. Came home empty handed, as the specs weren't correct. It was a nice unit, but not what I wanted.

Bought an expensive Air Purifier for elderly Mother who suffers from COPD. They do not carry the replacement filters needed for it and have been trying for over a month to find anywhere else that carries them. Also had a couple new appliances delivered. Washer and dryer. They scratched them bringing them in and then didn't have proper equipment to hook up Washer

Tom, Barrie & all the folks at Hamilton's Hometown Sears are always helpful, and are a pleasure to do business with. We've purchased several items from them over the years and will continue to do so! They're knowledgeable, friendly and offer great customer service even after the sale. Two thumbs up to Hamilton's Sears Hometown Store!

Our refrigerator was headed downhill so I visited this store just over a week ago. I've been there many times previously, but it had been a couple of years. I was hesitant to make a large purchase here as it seems that Sears could finish going out of business anytime, but last I knew this was a locally owned store and I wanted to keep my money local if possible. I was helped quickly by a blond older lady. When I asked about the ability to buy a refrigerator and take it home that day she said they didn't have many in stock. This is a smaller store so this made sense. I asked if they would be willing to sell a floor model as there were several empty spaces and my refrigerator probably wasn't going to make it another day . She appeared and sounded annoyed with my request and said she doesn't like to do that, but she could if necessary. Her tone was clearly more concerned about her having to set up a new floor unit when it arrived and she could care less about my situation.I finally decided on the unit I wanted. It was a Whirlpool on sale for $1349. It had scratches all over the sides of it from the other unit doors hitting it. When I asked about them she told me that Whirlpool sets the price and she couldn't discount it. Prior to buying, I called Fred's appliances in Missoula to see if they had this model in stock and how much it was. I spoke with a very helpful sales person named Michael D. He said they had several of that model in the store and that it was $100 less at $1249. After getting off the phone I advised the sales woman of this and asked if they did price matching. She said they did. I advised her of the price and availability at Fred's and she immediately told me she would need to see this price in writing. I told her I didn't have that, but offered to use speakerphone on her phone where she could hear the price. Or she could call and verify the price with Michael as he was who I spoke with. I told her that if she would honor the price match, I would be willing to purchase her floor unit with the scratches at that price. Again, it was worth it to me to keep the money here, and it would save me time At this point she became much less helpful. Other customers were shopping appliances and it was clear that she didn't want them to hear our conversation. She logged onto the Fred's appliance website where they only list the MSRP and it asks you to contact the store for current pricing. She then told me that she couldn't do the price match without something in writing to send into Sears. I asked how I was supposed to provide this and she clearly indicated that this was my problem and that it was Sears policy so she couldn't do anything. It was apparent now that she did not care to make a $1249 sale plus service plan. I went up to Fred's and had an excellent no pressure no hassle experience and brought a new refrigerator home for the price given on the phone.I probably would have let this go and not written this review until I looked up the Sears Homestore price match policy online. It states that they need the ad in writing only if you've already made a purchase and are returning within 14 days to get a refund of the difference. Not when you're making the initial purchase. It should also be noted that the in writing thing was her second false excuse. Initially, she said the prices were set by Whirlpool and she couldn't do anything different. Research also found this to be untrue. They provide a suggested price, but their dealers are free to sell it at a lower price.Sorry to say that if you're making a big appliance purchase, stay away from this Sears. Based on my experience separating you from as much money as possible seems to be the agenda here. This was my second appliance purchase from Fred's and they are straight shooters. They're happy to match anyone and the sales person last time pulled up other stores on the internet right in front of me to make sure I was getting the best price in the state. This is the service you
