Closing time listed in Google maps was incorrect. During the week, they close at 5pm, not 530pm. I missed sending out a package on time because of this error.

This is only the lastest of several unpleasant experiences at the Hamilton post office. My husband and I had our passport information to do our passports. We tried to get an appointment online but the scheduler wasn’t working. So my husband called the Hamilton office for an appointment, and whoever answered, the phone said no need just come down this afternoon (12-39-23). So we did. Then after waiting for quite a while a woman at the counter said it’s Christmas we didn’t have an online appointment she doesn’t have time.. She didn’t know of us calling. She would not help us. Very rude. Again, not the first time we received poor customer service there . Great for the holiday season. Thank you Hamilton post office.

They refuse to apply even one strip of tape to any package for free. You’re required to purchase a strip of tape for $1.79 per strip. That is ridiculous and I will not come here again.

Mailed envelope (a normal letter envelope) to SLC on Feb 10, it just arrived in Missoula Feb 20. What a joke!!!!!!

I’ve never had an issue in person, but our local mail carrier(s) are terrible. Packages are constantly put in incorrect boxes, and/or the keys to those boxes are left in it, so anyone going through our neighborhood can open the boxes and steal packages. We have also caught one of the carriers peeing next to a neighbor’s tree…in a subdivision. We’ve tried calling and seeing if the carriers can have these issues mentioned to, but get nothing but excuses.

You’re lucky if they deliver your packages. They won’t even attempt to deliver packages, but say they did.

The staff there is unhelpful and the "postmaster" there is a joke. When there is an issue he pretends to always be at lunch. They lost my money order and then didn't want to help me with that. 3 trips later a very rude woman working there kept trying to charge me to research their mistake. I went back there again today to try to get it straight. I did not want her to service me so I let the person go in front of me and I said I will wait. An employee named Monty promptly put up his sign so that he didn't have to help me either. The only professional person at this location is Tina. This female that waited on me must have gotten her job by must be sleeping up the ladder or being related to someone. It sure isn't her customer service and her team ganging up on customers.

Never have any issues with ups, but the usps seems to ALLWAYS find a way to mess up my shipping. Either marking them delivered and delivering them 5 days later or putting them in the completely wrong mailbox.

Very unhelpful most of the time. Informed delivery tells me I have a package available for pickup (why not just deliver it like usual who the heck knows) so I go down there just to be told they don't know and no they can't grab it from anywhere and "we don't know [and don't care about your time or our faulty tracking system]"

The employees have always been friendly and courteous to me. They are also helpful and knowledgeable. Hamilton P.O. rocks!!I have always believed that you get what you put into ANY relationship. If you want kindness and friendliness, you need to give that to others.

My regular carrier refuses to deliver my mail. Says the box is blocked. I have no where else to park at my rented house. The carrier gets out of the truck to deliver to the next door neighbor. What is the difference?! The carrier is even saying the box is blocked when there is no vehicle there because I'm at work! I have not received mail in a month. Christmas packages didn't get delivered. Bills, didn't get delivered. When I went to pick up my mail I was told by the supervisor 2 weeks ago he would speak to the carrier. I haven't heard a word back. Nor have I received mail. Except when there was a different carrier who did get out of the vehicle when I was home and delivered! So IT IS POSSIBLE!! I was told by the person at the counter I would probably have to pay for a box at the post office. WHAT?!
