Food was great, host very friendly. I had the cowboy scramble and my wife had the Slayer buritto, both were excellent. The coffee was good too and it was roasted right next door.

Been in Hamilton visiting for a few days and have tried a few places and have been drinking some "meh" coffee. Until today! my ex recommended this place and wow, this is my new place in Hamilton Montana, there is a definite difference when someone roasts their own coffee. Had an Americano and it did the trick, bold, deep coffee. I will be back, and i do recommend. bonum calidum bibit!

Stacey has been in the coffee roasting and brewing business for years and we were delighted when she opened up a business in the Bitterroot Valley. Originally in the former Mangy Moose building on highway 93 she later moved to smaller facilities. She provides coffee for a number of businesses, to include The Canyons Athletic Club and operates her own shop. Also vends at the Hamilton Farmer's Market each Saturday from May - October. Great brews, great coffee by a nice person.

You know when you walk in a Starbucks and the barista remembers your drink order? You know that little bit of joy you get from that because you feel a little sense of recognition and connection from a stranger? Well, that barista doesn't really care how your coffee tastes. Imagine going to a coffee shop where there is a Professional Coffee Roaster, who not only remembers what you like to drink, but also remembers things about you. Someone who not only earnestly cares about how your day is going, but also is genuinely concerned about the enjoyment you get out of the quality of your coffee. Sorry, but Starbucks just doesn't compare. That's what you'll get at Zaxan, along with familiar faces, delicious nibbles, and the best cup of coffee outside South America. I've had actual dreams about getting coffee here, and every time I'm back in MT, I make sure to stop by. Stacy, the resident coffee expert, has made her life passion of roasting coffee into an art. I've searched Seattle (Seattle for Godsakes!) for a substitute, but still haven't found one. If you find yourself driving through the beautiful Bitterroot Valley, I absolutely recommend definitely stop by Hamilton and get your coffee fix at Zaxan.
