“Trav (Shop Manager) and the team are so professional and helpful! My radiator needed replacement. The team immediately started the inspection, sent me a detailed itemized and priced quote with pictures! To my email that included all the issues with my car not just the radiator. I was able to sign for estimates that I approved, which I REALLY LIKED, from the comfort of my home with my phone in my hand. Lastly, they had the parts delivered and labor completed in under 3 whole business days which also included flushing the coolant system and oil change additionally per my request. I was able to pay for my job via email pay link.

“These guys have been awesome whenever I have come in for work or even a question. Rarely have i ever had to wait. Over the winter I came in cause I thought I broke my windshield wiper blade. They were able to fix it without charging me. My last visit, I was hoping they could assist me as my fan was broken in my vehicle and blowing hot air. They assisted me by explaining that even though they couldn't do the work, what was wrong with the vehicle and what assistance I should ask for at a shop. Even though they couldn't fix my fan they were able to rotate my tires, give me an oil change, replace my air filter (which had been chewed up by rodents) and do my transmission. I have been going to these guys for the last year and a half and have never regretted it! They have done awesome work for me! Thank you!”

“Ram 3500, cab & chassis, dual wheel flatbed, 6.7 Cummins. As a lifelong mechanic on my own company equipment, this was the first time I trusted others to do my work. Unlike the big dealerships, Capitol City is not a rip off operation. I was well aware of the work involved to replace an entire clutch, flywheel, pressure plate assembly on my Dodge Ram 3500 dually. Their price was fair and no problems with their high quality work. Dealing with Todd the owner was accomodating, friendly, and professional. They will be my go to repair shop for their specialty work. They remain very busy and there is a reason for this. ..their reputation for performance. A very thorough vehicle inspection was an added bonus. ? It is worth the wait to have them do the repairs. Unsolicited comments.”
“Had my BMW M340i at V-Dubs for an oil change and was really happy with them! I called on Monday asking if they had any spots open for an oil change and was scheduled on Thursday as a drop-off. Dropped the car off in the morning and it was done by lunch time for me to pick up during lunch break. Oil level was perfect and came with a multi-point inspection.

“Eric has saved me twice now from having to trek all the way back to Billings to have work done on my Volvo at the dealership where I bought it. He might not work on this model of car frequently, but he absolutely goes the extra mile to figure out the issue. Here's the level of commitment Eric has in finding a solution to putting a simple block heater on my Volvo XC70: manufacturer won't provide written installation instructions (proprietary information) on how to install block heater. No instructional videos on YouTube or Google, no Volvo dealership will provide direction (again proprietary information)... so Eric contacts the maker in Sweden, gets the block heater instructions-in SWEDISH! So he then has to get a translation app to convert the instructions to English. OMG, this guy went above and beyond to get a really expensive block heater installed in my car. I am so grateful for this man. And... AND he honored the original estimate price he told me instead of adding hundreds of dollars for the extra time he spent getting proper directions on the install. I will take every car and truck I own to Eric at Independence Auto!!”

“I couldn't have dreamed up better service. Kim was able to help me save money on parts, who doesn't love that. One of my issues were very bad tires and Kim let me leave my vehicle in the parking lot while she ordered my tires and got them on. I still had more work to be done so she just let me leave my vehicle there until it was all done. That included waiting for me to refresh my finances after each job. This made my life so much easier.
