They have continually been no help. Its a shame that I am compelled to write this. Mike is fantastic as are all the people I have interacted with. The after hours support is abysmal. When a week end or away this is unacceptable.”

“I love the efficiency, professionalism, and efficiency of Rocky Mountain Credit Union that they always provide. I have been a long time member with them , since 2007 . I was helped by Mike yesterday, May 29. 2026. He's a fairly new teller, I've only seen him a couple of times, but he has already become one of my favorites. I know he is new and still learning, but he always makes it known upfront if it's something that he hasn't learned yet, and he always remains positive about it and has a very friendly attitude. I have an elderly mom who needs banking assistance and Mike was able to answer all of her and my questions and provided additional information that was extremely helpful. Both my mom and I left very confident that everything has been taken care of. Thank you so very much, Mike.”

“I have banked at RMCU for over 40 years. When reading reviews, please note that reviews are mostly written when someone is upset. Happy customers don't think about writing reviews -- which seems a terrible shame, so that's why I'm here writing. Today I had a snafu which caused a $3.03 overdraft charge in my checking account. The customer service lady at RMCU was super nice and helpful, and the overdraft charged was waived! I went in to the bank 3 months ago to see about a loan to get a new washing machine (mine broke... it was only 26 years old -- (! lol) -- figuring that I probably couldn't get a loan as I now am on SS and have limited income. My credit rating was 590 (?) just because I haven't borrowed anything in years. (I did have a $6,000 loan with the RMCU about 14 years ago, paid in full, no lates.) RMCU said they couldn't do a loan, but they could give me a credit card for $500 to buy the washing machine with! Saved the day! I filed for bankruptcy over 20 years ago, and 4 years later it was RMCU who helped me to slowly build my credit back up. RMCU is my bank, even back years ago when it was State Capital Employees Credit Union. They will waive one overdraft fee a year, just as a courtesy. They treat people as members of RMCU, not just as a 'small' time checking account. Big corporate banks are driving only by profits but a credit union is a not-for-profit financial institution. You are a share holder. This credit union is there for its members. And that is gold. I highly recommend RMCU to everyone!”
“Love this bank. Had been with Wells Fargo for over 20 years and then started having problems with them. Closed my account and went with this bank a little over 2 years ago and love these guys and gals. Have had no problems with them and they are always very friendly. The app is very easy to navigate and with just a couple of clicks, I always know just how much is in my account. If I could give a 10 star rating I would.”

“This is a GREAT bank. My one complaint is they don't have a branch closer to Bozeman, which is a major city, but Helena & Missoula both have big branches. The Helena branch is a big, nice building with a huge parking lot that is usually not filled. They have several drive-through lanes, as well as several tellers inside, so the lines are never long. The president of the bank is wonderful and has helped our company with the issues we encountered as we were trying to open company accounts that were more complex than other accounts. All the people we have worked with have been very knowledgeable & and efficient, making things as easy as possible for us, which is helpful when you already have many things going on that need your attention. They are a Montana owned, and the banks seen several generations of the original founders family have headed it over the years and still do as far as I know.”

Email is easiest for me and she always responds quickly and manually processes my loan payments even though I know it’s a bit of work.
