I had the pleasure of trying to make ceramics here. Nothing but drama from most of the board members or people who have been there long term. My first night of being a member, one of the board members was talking inappropriately to me about two other members stating that they were “Queen Bees of cone 10 firing”.After being with the guild for about a month one of the board members had a class going. Now I was just a free standing member and paid my dues, I did not participate in classes. I was there to help with pugging. I was being hit on inappropriately by one of the gentlemen attending the class. After feeling uncomfortable I stopped going to pugging and ever showing up when people were present. Always seems to be some sort of retirement drama.Recently I had been asked to vacate my cubby space as I was not able to meet the “firing requirements” for each quarter. They state they fire cone 6 and cone 10. If you are wanting to fire cone 10 I recommend going elsewhere to spend your money. I had pieces that sat on shelf for months for the cone 10 firing. I was told by the dues lady that it was okay because I was waiting for a firing. Now that’s all changed.Alea the “President” is not a pleasure to deal with at all. I have never heard a single member have anything nice to say about her. After my own interactions with her, I definitely agree with everyone else. Sour personality, rude, unprofessional. She runs the ship and if it is not her way, or there is any type of disagreement, it’s definitely the highway.

I went as a Therapeutic assignment with a group of fellow Veterans an I am grateful for the opportunity and experience. Wife and Husband owned and operated they extremely qualified to do the required work and are both quite talented and certified as well as catering to the artistic and spacial needs of the general public for a very reasonable price!Without WaxR STEPHEN J aka Silent Crow
