Upon arriving we were charged an extra $5.47 service fee. When I booked online it said that my total was $77.25 with my rewards member discount. Then I was charged $82.72! The young man at the front desk said it was a service fee. When pressed on it a young lady explained it was for a credit card processing fee. I did not see any signs or disclosures anywhere regarding this. This is not what I agreed to when I booked. The young man, at the desk, needs some training on customer service. Upon giving us our keys he never told us where the room was, never told us about breakfast, never explained where the hot tub was. Our room was way at the end of the hall where they had the door open on floor one for construction. The hall and our room was freezing! I asked the young man at the desk if they could close the door and he basically said no because they go in and out but they would be done at 5. That area should be blocked off with plastic and those rooms should not be rented out. The workers also were smoking and all the smoke was filtering up with the freezing air. We utilized your hot tub which was very hot but the bubbles were a joke and it was way over chlorinated!Upon leaving the hot tub I asked the young man at the desk if we could have some paper plates, silverware and napkins. He basically knew where nothing was...pointed to the paper plates, no napkins or silverware. I ended up with paper towel and no silverware. I wouldn't want him representing my company and serving my customers.Now...on to our room....it was disgusting! Mold in shower, towel bar coming off the wall, filthy unvacuumed carpet, dirty tissue on the floor, used ziploc bag between desk and dresser, old coffee grounds in the coffee maker, dirty heat registers, thick dust under the desk, the phone was all busted, and no alarm clock. The tiny room has way too much furniture in it. Two night stands, a desk chair, desk, dresser, fridge, bench. Look at the picture online describing the room and look at the actual room....what a difference! The halls were dirty, and the breakfast and breakfast room were disgusting. The chairs were so filthy I didn't even want to sit down.There is no excuse for this! I paid good money to stay there and based on the prior reputation of the hotel and the good name of the company. Shame on you for expecting people to pay for a nice hotel room and getting a filthy dump. You are ripping people off! If this is how you reward your members then I will think hard in the future of staying at your brand of hotel.Update!General Manager contacted me and apologized, listened to me and made it right by me. I appreciated his sincerity and thanked him but there is still no excuse for this kind of service.

A very decent hotel. Nice and clean. Our room was quite adequate and comfortable, although some bath fixtures were aged. We did have a 3rd room unit, requiring a bit of climbing with our luggage. It made a difference, as I am an older person with bad knees, etc. The hotel had a hot tub, although we didnt use it. (Those stairs stopped us!) Morning continental breakfast was quite good. A lot of choices. Hot bacon and eggs. A waffle maker, toast, muffins, cereals, juices, and so on. The eggs were pretty terrible. Must be powdered. Not recommended! Overall, a good stay! I would stay there again.

I stayed in here in Aug 2023. The rooms are old and dated. I would not stay here again. I had to ask for a shower curtain as it was forgotten.Not to mention I was charged twice on my credit card. I've contacted the General Manager on several occasions. 16 times to be exact via email, voicemail etc. He did forward me the charges which confirmed I was charged twice. Mistakes happen I get it. What is disgusting is the lack of customer care. I appealed to his sense of fairness if this happened to him, wouldn't he want a call back to resolve the issue? I never did get a phone call or response to my email after his initial email. In hopes that what I would go away. I filed a complaint to the Corporate Head office, which in turn they told me to deal with the actual hotel. Chase the tail again. It's now October and working with my credit card company to dispute the second charge. Worse customer care ever. The front staff desk were polite. Maybe one of them should be promoted to GM, or train the GM on how to handle customer legit concerns.

Our room was given to us unclean! Upon pulling down the blankets there were crushed crackers in our bed. The bathroom had used towels hung up around the room. The toilet paper had stained finger prints on the side and the tub would not drain. The carpets were filthy. My expectations were not high going into this but I was disgusted and could not check out fast enough. Helena however is a beautiful city!Rooms: Dirty.

This is a nice hotel in the lower budget tier. Rooms are clean, carpet had been shampooed & still a little damp. Bert (manager at the front desk) relocated us quickly. We were very impressed with his efficiency and hospitality. Very happy with our stay.

It’s not a bad place to stay for one night. The workers were great and very helpful. The hallways leading to the room had trash lining the sides. The AC in the room is extremely loud compared to other hotels that I’ve stayed at. It didn’t bother me for the stay but it did for the others. Its in a great safe area in Helena.

We had an incredible stay at Days Inn in Helena, MT last night. Denis, the front desk agent, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering not only a warm smile but also valuable insights into the local attractions in Helena. Despite not being the manager on duty, his dedication and hospitality truly stood out. The thoughtful touch of popcorn at the door, with the assurance of its freshness, showcased their commitment to ensuring a delightful experience.Our room was carefully selected to meet our needs, and it exceeded our expectations. The comfort of the bed provided a perfect night’s rest. The spa area was a haven of relaxation, with impeccable cleanliness, inviting seating, and soothing lighting that created a serene ambiance. The addition of a TV and the attention to every detail further enhanced the experience.This Sunday evening stay at Days Inn felt like a true retreat, enveloped in an atmosphere of comfort. Based on my experience here, it was comfortable and at a decent price. Room was pretty quiet. Hallway smelled like weed. AC worked really well. Parking is free. Customer service from front desk was great. Microwave and mini fridge in room. Curtains close all the way to block out light at night. Would recommend and would return.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better hotel in Helena in this price range.Sure, there were some carpet stains in the hallway but the rooms were clean and spacious and the area was quiet. The breakfast was almost exclusively carbohydrates, with only a few Red Delicious apples for fruit, but still tasty.Across the street is a grocery store and half a block away is one of the BEST authentic Mexican restaurants you'll ever eat at, just be prepared for a bit of a wait to get a seat, it's that popular due to food quantity at very fair prices. Ask the staff to direct you to "Melaque Mexican Restaurant"The staff were awesome.

The gentleman at the front desk was absolutely amazing, very informative and personable. The room was pretty decent, the beds/bedding was clean, the only unfortunate part was the grip sticker in the tub was dirty- a few stains and a couple hairs on it. It was quite, no one bothered us, breakfast was good, they had a lot of options. We thankfully got a room on the first floor (my best friend is a disabled veteran). Overall it was a really good stay, would recommend.

The hotel is conveniently situated near the I15. And is a good price. The rooms are comfortable but dated. The carpet is old and appeared to have seen better days. The room smelled musty, we opened the window to allow the room to air out. Everything worked in the room.The breakfast was typical of this type of hotel. It was good and hot. The breakfast room was clean and as people left the room attendant cleaned the tables vacated.Overall a nice stay besides the smell in the room and the old dirty looking carpet.

I read someone else say 5 star customer service but 3 star accommodations. These are hard working people that clean and take care of the property. The front desk person was kind enough to find and upgrade a room for us that did not smell like smoke. I very appreciated this and helped me so much to be able to rest. I hope the owner of this hotel will spend some money and upgrade and renovate the rooms. Excellent staff.

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help with suggestions and ideas. The breakfast was okay, nothing special. The room ------ there was very little attention to detail on cleanliness. Found a coffee stir stick in the bathroom from the previous guest. Great location. If the place was cleaner it would have been a good experience. Bathroom towels felt like brillo pads.

If you’re looking for a quick stop for a deal. Or just working in town and you’ll be in and out. This is your place. No where near the fanciest but not the worst. This place has greater potential if they hired better housekeepers. All in all the water gets hot and the beds are clean. The guy at the front desk was awesome. He checked me in both visits on two separate occasions. He is always All smiles and very accommodating. He is the reason this place gets 3 stars along with the clean sheets.Things to point out:Refrigerators not thoroughly cleanedMold in the showerToilet seat came off and was full of urinePlace did not smellVery friendly staffClean sheets

My room smelled like stale smoke. The front desk refused to change my room for me. I will never be back here again.
