The suites are great, staff is helpful and friendly. I really like the layout of the rooms and the hotel. Whirlpool rooms are definitely enjoyable. The tubs are very relaxing.Biggest complaint is that the plumbing is horrible at this hotel. I've stayed several times and in each one there's always been the question "is it gonna even flush the toilet paper down?" It barely flushes the water down let alone anything else.... yikesShower heads are another thing in the rooms that are very outdated and very worn

We stayed here for 2 weekends in a row. The first weekend was just one night. It didn't look like the carpet had been vacuumed. The night stands had beverage rings on them. The rest of the room was very clean, so we decided to stay the following weekend for 2 nights. This room seemed cleaner. The frost in the freezer part of the refrigerator was so thick that we couldn't shut the door to the freezer (as was the case with the room we stayed in the previous weekend). We received no room service. When checking out my husband mentioned it to the cashier and she apologized and said she had already run our card, so apparently couldn't give us credit. She said she'd pass that on to the cleaning staff. For $180/night we were very disappointed and will not stay there again.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially for an event. I went there this weekend for a retreat, and it was very underwhelming. The first two days there was no hot water, and the third day there was very low water pressure. There was a bathroom in the hall where we had our sessions and we were warned that we shouldn't use it too much all at once or it would overwhelm the system. I never once saw a line outside of it, and yet by the afternoon of the first day it was out of order for the rest of the weekend, so we had to walk to the far end of the hotel. There are also big gaps under the doors to the rooms and they are very thin. We could even hear whispers in the halls. Lastly, my key deactivated 3 times. This was extra annoying as my room was a far walk from the lobby. I know staffing issues can't be helped, but my friend and I wanted a drink around 10pm and the bar had already closed. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was pretty clean. For $170 a night, I had higher expectations.

I am a Marriott loyalist with Titanium Status. This was my first time staying at a Delta property. For being a renovated hotel, I was very surprised at how nice it was. The indoor pool was well used by my boys. They had a great bar, and the food was nice. I recommend getting the chocolate cover cream puffs for dessert if they have them.

I stayed at the Delta Hotel and Suites in Helena, Montana on several occasions. I stayed there because I really enjoyed the amenities, namely the jacuzzi in the suite. However, I have had several unsettling experiences that I would like to share with potential patrons of this establishment.A while ago, I stayed at the Delta hotel for the first time. I remember the accommodations were wonderful; however, making the reservation and the check-in process were substandard. I do recall the room was clean and spacious, and the jacuzzi in the room was delightful. I recall calling Marriott Bonvoy and expressing my pleasure with the amenities and displeasure with the customer service. Despite this, I decided to give the Delta hotel another try.I recently stayed at the Delta hotel a second time and the experience of making a reservation and the check-in process were similar as the first experience. I remember asking the hotel representative if the spa in the room (listed in advertisement) was the same as the jacuzzi in the suite. She replied, "Well it's not a swimming pool" and proceeded to laugh. I explained that I was not sure if the spa and jacuzzi were terms used synonymously, and explained to her that I didn't appreciate her sarcasm, for which she never apologized.I then recall checking into the hotel pursuant to my reservation and the clerk did not welcome me. Instead, she had this unwelcoming look on her face as if she did not want to be there. The conversation was limited to handing her my credit card and her asking me how many keys I needed for the room. I then walked to my room and upon entry, I noticed an open Sunkist can and a Slurpee type of drink in the refrigerator, which suggested that the room was not adequately cleaned. I was planning to address this concern with the front desk clerk but given her non-welcoming attitude, I decided to call the Marriott Bonvoy customer service about my experience. After my stay, I recall speaking with a Marriott Bonvoy representative who took copious notes of my experience. She then informed me that she was forwarding my feedback to the Delta hotel and that I should be getting a call back from the manager very soon. Unfortunately, I never received a call. I then called the Marriott Bonvoy back and informed the representative that after waiting the allotted time, I never received a call from the hotel manager.Marriott Bonvoy representative apologized for the confusion and explained that the hotel manager probably didn't call me back because I was just allotted 5,000 points for my inconvenience. I told the representative that I still wanted a call back from the hotel manager as I was planning another reservation at the same hotel and wanted to make sure that I did not have a similar experience as before.Since then, I made another reservation at the Delta hotel for October 7, 2023. However, on October 6, 2023, at approximately 1030 a.m., I received a call from the hotel manager. He called to inform me that he was canceling my reservation. His justification was vague, but it seemed that he found my repeated feedback to Marriott Bonvoy harassing. He also informed me that I was rude to the hotel clerk; however, he refused to provide me with specific examples. He then informed me that I was no longer permitted to make any reservations for an indefinite period at the Delta hotel, which I perceived as retaliatory. I then informed the manager that I would be calling Marriott Bonvoy again to inform them of this conversation. Feeling devalued as a Titanium member but more importantly as a human being, I called Marriott Bonvoy and informed the representative of the persona non-grata status, to which I now hold at the Delta hotel. I explained to the representative that had the hotel manager valued my patronage by listening to my side of the story and correcting any misunderstanding, this persona non-gratis would never have come to fruition. Given everything that I have been through with the Delta hotel, I give them zero stars. If you choose to stay at this hotel, I pray th

Decided to stay here on our wedding night. We got a suite and one with the jacuzzi tub because we wanted to relax after our big day! We were looking forward to it! Then we finally get to our room and get in the tub and turn it on and it flips the breaker everytime we use the tub. After trying it for half an hour we give up and just decide to go to bed. Then at 9 am the maid is banging on the door and i mean banging! My new husband goes to see what the hell is going on and no one was there so he comes back to bed and the banging starts again! He opens the door and she asks when we are checking out! Like umm checkout is not until 12 pm so why the hell are you waking us up! We paid a lot of money for the tub and room when we could have stayed somewhere else for 1/2 the price and slept in. So no. I wouldn't recommend this overpriced hotel if you like sleep or working appliances.. honestly we are extremely disappointed.

Took my kids to an Anime Con here and stayed the weekend. Great hotel and staff just be aware that they host loads of conventions throughout the year so if you aren't comfortable with certain groups or genres then check to see if anything is being held there during the time you want to stay. I say this because some guy was super upset that people were running around dressed up as their favorite Anime character. The rest of us had a fantastic weekend lol

We specifically chose this hotel because of the lovely amenities advertised on their website. They cost a bit more, but we were willing to pay for the extras. We arrived very late and the front desk gal was very nice, but unable to answer any of my questions, as she was new. The restaurant and bar are closed, till further notice, as they didn't have enough staff. There was also no hot breakfast available for the same reason..Room 168, near the D entrance, had a moldy and cracked shower. The floor was stained. And to top it off, the pool was closed. None of the amenities we wanted were available. We checked out early, went to the Doubletree downtown. Their pool was open, the room was spotless. They had a full italian restaurant on site, and a hot breakfast available. And, we got warm cookies.Rooms: Room was not well kept. Moldy and cracked shower.

Recently redone and very nice. Comfortable room and beds. Very nice staff. We were part of a group and had dinner and breakfast buffets and the food was fresh, well-prepared. Walking distance to other restaurants.

This is a great hotel for Helena - the pool is a little small, but the hot tub is relaxing. I have stayed here a lot, and the in hotel restaurant is great - I don’t drink alcohol, and when I walked up to the bar and ordered a coke, the bartender did not charge me for it - this really made my night- I tipped her $5.

Beautiful hotel, except its OLD. Walls are paper thin, you can hear EVERYTHING all around you.

There were popcorn crumbs on the floor of our room which indicated that it had not been cleaned, room smelt badly of cigarettes, and restaurant was closed. This hotel was built in the 70s and had a bad refresh in the early 2000s and it shows. This is not what I have come to expect from Delta hotels and hope Marriott does something about this. Until something changes I would NOT recommend!

I made a 3 night reservation at about $280 per night. Upon arrival, I was informed the hotel restaurant isn't open for breakfast. The hotel's website in several places advertises that the restaurant is open daily for breakfast and dinner. The front desk clerk said the restaurant hasn't been open for breakfast for almost a year. There was also signage at the front desk indicating that daily housekeeping isn't provided. The hotel website advertises daily housekeeping For guests with Marriott platinum, titanium and ambassador elite status, there is a "pantry" down a hallway that had junk food snacks, a coffee machine, and a mostly empty refrigerator of soft drinks. That was it. While the lobby was attractive and looked renovated, the complete lack of amenities and services was unacceptable. Especially at $280 per night. Without a fully open restaurant and without daily housekeeping, you are better off staying at the Holiday Inn Express, Fairfield Inn or Best Western Premier. All things considered, I cannot recommend this hotel.
