The Helena athletic club is a mecca for children and gymnastics and tumbling and other healthful activities. What a wonderful place for activities with caring and professional coaches.

The staff is made up of high schools with little to no supervision. Numerous occasions the cheer leading was cut short because the "staff" had to leave early. The costs are high for what you get in return. They only care about getting their money, not providing a quality services. Stay Away!!

I take my toddler to open gym Friday between 9:30-11:30. Half the gym is set up for the kids to run around, bounce, tumble, etc. It's the best $8 I've spent for a nice long nap later.

My son loves his Gymtykes class. He gets exercise even when the weather is bad. They have great coaches who are experienced and have creative ways to teach the kids.

I showed up to a HAC open gym with some friends on a Friday night for the second session of the night (session for kids ages 11 and up). After showing up on time (7:30) the line was very long but we decided to wait it out. As we got to the front of the line (after 20 minutes) we were told that the gym was full. I was sad to hear this because a large majority of the kids in the gym were clearly under the age of 11. Those children should NOT have been let into the second session due to their age. Hence, we were not let into the gym and then waited outside for our rides home. Not impressed, overall the system seemed unorganized and understaffed. Highly disappointing.

Me & my friends were going to enjoy a quality night of having fun. Keep in mind we are all above the minimum age for the session we were attending but they thought it fit to admit many underage children while us gentlemen were left outside the gym after they had reached the maximum occupancy, although 2/3 of the people in the gym were under age and that is why I will be highly skeptical of giving helena athletic club any business in the future.

We had my daughter's 8th birthday and my sister's 7th birthday party here. The kids absolutely loved it! Not a dull moment with all of the options for play time. The prices were also very pleasing. I very much recommend this for anyone looking for something fun to do with the kids or for your next birthday party idea!

I laughed when I read this from HAC's website..."We don't take our clients for granted and understand our two-fold customer: the child and family. Our community deserves to have a safe, clean and enriching athletic facility where recreational students and competitive athletes alike can grow as well-rounded individuals in a healthy and supportive environment." Obviously, this is very untrue. When researching HAC, I was informed that they have turned some children away because competitive parents did not want their children interacting in classes with other newcomers. How do you turn a child away? There is a difference between a competitive parent and a jealous one. It's a disgrace what some adults are teaching their children, but to have a business justify it is even worse. So glad I did not take my child here after hearing this. If the philosophy of this facility is to let overbearing pageant parents run the owners, than I am glad to support another business that does not discriminate. It's hard enough for children these days to deal with bullying from their peers, but to have to encounter IGNORANCE, BIAS and MISTREATMENT from adults is beyond comprehension. People like this should not be running a business for children in our community. If your doors are not open to everyone, than I'm sure you will soon find them closed.
