No one at the desk for 45 minutes. The other agencies had up to 2 workers and said Hertz should’ve left a sign with a number to call. Nope. Googled it and called that number numerous times. So the rental car we paid for we lost an hour of. Finally some dude (Santana, who should not work here and clearly doesn’t want to) was agitated and aggressive, had headphones in and somehow saw he missed 7 calls (us and the 5 other people waiting behind us). Asked 1 question of him; he quite literally yelled the answer at us 100 miles a minute (so we declined any additional coverage or purchase because we didn’t understand it). Got a ticket that says “no visible damage” that we had to sign BEFORE WE SAW THE CAR “to get the keys”. I said why would we sign something agreeing it has no damage if we haven’t seen it? He didn’t care. “Have to sign it to get the keys”. We got down there. Yep, has clearly visible damage.
It is 100° out and the car’s AC doesn’t work.
And clearly they care about their reviews as the responses are automatic canned responses.

The gentlemen working the counter went above and beyond to help us and we greatly appreciate it! We will definitely use Hertz in the future!

100$ cancelation fee, people there act nice but are not helpful at all and didnt know i needed a credit card to pick the car up till after the purchase I do not recommend these people

CAUTION!!!!!! I reserved a vehicle online for one price. Went to pick up vehicle and was asked if I wanted anything extra or to pay for gas. I said no nothing extra just what my reservation says. They take my card run it and I walk away. Let this be a warning to you all! They did not disclose $313 of fees. A cleaning fee hold and a gas hold. EXTRAS I SAID WERE UNNECESSARY! Honestly, you are better off hitching rides or walking then to ever go with Hertz!

Chris was great at the counter and answered all my questions. I usually rent from Enterprise but after renting from the Helena Hertz I might be changing my loyalties. The car was way cleaner than any I've gotten from Enterprise too!

Rented a car and was told the only vehicle I could get was a suv that was not gas efficient for our 13 hour drive. No one would give us a discount or anything.

Don't know his name but has a loud deep voice. Extremely thorough and nice. He, if not, should be a manager. Learned he's a Seahawks fan...that's the only bad part. RAIDERS!!!
